Recommendations for Hilton Head? Our first DVC reservations!

Ok, so on Friday we are making our first DVC reservations at Hilton Head. Any suggestions on things we should request? Is there a specific building/view you would request? Any you have stayed in previously that you absolutely loved? High room, low room? We love HH...so I'm so excited about getting to stay there with Disney! Guest Services opens at 9AM Eastern Time, right?

9 AM is correct but DVC Member Services is going through more upgrades this week so it's hit and miss again as to whether their systmes will be up. They are currently down until after 11 AM EST.

First of all, it is very pretty down there. It is also a small complex-or at least to me-but then I like the size of OKW and Saratoga/Tree Houses.

We stayed at a Grand Villa one weekend before Thanksgiving. In the Grand Villa, you get to burn real firewood-not sure about other sizes.

We walked everywhere-there are shops and restaurants across the bridge-very pretty walk.

Heck, we even walked the mile-plus to the beach-even though they have shuttles-but then we are walkers.

It is just a laid-back place and very enjoyable. Be sure to go toward the back of the facility-see the natural hidden Mickey in the tree trunk-it is pretty wild!
