When the Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm, is there a parade?

I noticed that during our trip next month, the Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm a few days, which is I guess due to the Christmas Party, which is something we won't be doing...too late for us.

So my question is, is there the nighttime parade anyway, or is it just the special parade for the Christmas Party.

And along those lines, how in the world do they get everyone out of the park? Is it like they do with the extra magic hours, do you need to show a ticket or get a wristband or something like that?

Those days there should only be the 3pm afternoon parade. No fireworks and no evening parade for non party guests.

Regarding getting people out of the park, all party guests need to use their ticket to get a wrist band. Starting at like 6-6:30ish, they will basically split Main Street in half, so it works like a road with traffic on the right. They have cast members all over the place informing you that if you don't have a wrist band, you will need to leave. And then at 7, they will pretty much be sweeping guests out who don't have a wristband. And the party specific events that people line up before 7 for, they will kick you out of line w/o a wristband. If you have a dining reservation before 7, and you finish after 7, they will normally escort you to the exit if you don't have said wristband.

That said, some people report being able to remain in the park without a wristband on, but all the parties I have been to they have been pretty vigilant about checking people to make sure they belong.

Last year, during our first Xmas party, we saw TONS of people without wristbands in the park all night. Some of them were even getting on rides and watching the same shows we paid for.

The second night, it was much better, with very few non-wristband people wandering around.

Disney does their best to screen people for wrist bands as they move through the park, but it is very easy to stay in the park and grab a seat for the parade and fireworks. I don't think there is any way they can check everyone.

If you see people without wristbands, just tell a Disney Cast Member, they will get rid of them, and its pretty much them only time Cast Members don't take no for an answer.

Jimmy Thick- I paid, so should you!
