Given the cost of renting a vehicle big enough, gas, tolls, stress of driving all the way from north western Wisconsin with small children and travelling with people you don't normally travel with, I would think flying would be so much easier.

Have the kids check in at a designated place at a designated time. Bed check at a specified time each night. Make sure everyone knows the rules and consequences of breaking them. Relax and have fun!

I prefer the 100 loop, which is the closest to the marina. I like hearing the boats coming and going. From what I understand, though, the cabins in the 100 loop are not available for rent. I have never found a golf cart to be a must, jmo.
