We were at Fort Wilderness from 2/17 to 2/25, staying on the orange loop. Now I have always been one who has always said that you don't have to have a cart when staying at FW, but I'm changing my mind. We would sometimes wait up to 40 minutes for an orange bus at our loop's bus stop, and when waiting at either the Settlement or Outpost, it was not unusual for there to be 2 purple buses and 2 yellow buses to each orange bus. It was ridiculous. A couple times we gave up and hopped on a yellow bus and got off at the loop behind ours and walked through the woods to get to our loop. Not the best thing to do at night, but when you're tired and getting cold, you do what you have to do. So now I have changed my opinion, if staying in the orange loop, definitely consider a golf cart.
