Suggestion Time:

My boyfriend and I currently live in two different states NY and Florida, he lives in Florida. So because of this I am going down there on December 28th and we are checking into All Star Sports that night and having our Christmas. Waking up the next morning, doing gifts, etc. So my need for suggestions is what to do the next day after gifts, etc that is around the property that is Christmasy. We are not going to go into any of the parks but are looking to go out to dinner or lunch or a "dunch". I've been to a few resturants on the grounds but was wondering if any of the places seemed extra festive. Any suggestions would be fabulous. I'm trying to make this really special because his childhood Christmas' well they sucked so any input would be fabulous thank you!

The Wilderness Lodge has a horse drawn "Sleigh Ride" at the holidays. I've never done it- but have always wated to. You'd need to make ressies with Recreation sooner than later!

We like visiting the Deluxe resorts to see their decorations and the gingerbread houses.

you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks without actually entering the park. I've watched them from the beach at the poly & the music is played & everything. It's very nice.

A dinner at ohanas during the fireworks is great. Downtown Disney is pretty well decorated and has some great places for lunch or dinner. I think its just fun to jump on the monorail and go to the delixe resorts to check out all of the fantastic decorations. You may want to consider putting lights on your room window as well, many people do it ad it looks really cool.:xmas::xmas::xmas:

What about the hayride at Ft Wilderness. Seems nice for a night time activity. We saw them last year and it was all decorated up and the grounds there are all lit with Chritmas lights that RV ers have done up. Food...hummmmm I would think of something American. Not sure how the countries celebrate Christmas in their restaurants. How about Whispering Canyon it is a fun place. Maybe Tutto Italia or Mama Melrose for a more Tuscan atmosphere.

I would go to Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk that night. Check out the restaurants in those area's to see if you can get a ressie at one of them. Kouzzina just opened on the Boardwalk, it looks yummy!
