    Dream Along to close?

Don't you think a new castle show would generate some excitement? It sure seems like the new parade has done so!

Where can you find good quality Disney shirts?

Depending on what you are looking for, the ESPN store on the Boardwalk has some nicer running gear and golf polos.

Soarin: Is It Really That Great?

Soarin' is a favorite of my family. In fact, we usually ride it more than once per trip. We enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and movement. It's not a thrill ride, so those who are looking for "butterflies" will need to look elsewhere. But for me, it is the most relaxing few moments that I...

    dining in Epcot

Rose & Crown-Especially if you can sit on the patio during illuminations. Le Cellier-The food has always been good. Biergarten-We love the atmosphere and the food is unusual (but in a good way).

    Clockwise or Counter-clockwise?

Magic Kingdom is always the first park that we go to after we arrive. We actually discuss our "must-do" rides for weeks prior to our arrival. We plan which ride we want to start with. It always varies. One year, our "goal" was to do everything in Tomorrowland. Last year, we did the same...

    Birthday dinner

We've done both Chef Mickey's and Ohana for birthdays. I'm not sure you can go wrong with either. And since you are going to be at MK, both are convenient.

Despite Construction.... We are booked at the Poly!!!!!!!

The Poly is our favorite. We've tried Beech Club and enjoyed it as well. We are staying at the Grand Floridian in May, but (at least so far) nothing beats the feeling of stepping off the Magical Express and walking into the Great Ceremonial House. The very first time we walked through those...

Connected to the "real world" while at WDW?

We try to avoid TV time while at Disney. There used to be a channel where they showed old Disney cartoons. This was great, but I'm not sure that it is on anymore. Last time I checked, we couldn't find it. Anyway, we try hard to unplug for a week. I'll read the news on my iPad, but emails...

    Favorite ride in MK?

I've got to agree with Big Thunder Mountain at night! It's even better if you can ride it during wishes. Also, the Jungle Cruise has always been a favorite. The right skipper makes all the difference!

    fireworks info for a newbie

Last year I happened to be on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad during "Wishes." It was an amazing experience. Main Street is probably best place to view the fireworks in Magic Kingdom, but the crowds are large. My favorite location is on the beach at the Poly. You can relax and watch the show.
