Monsters Inc coaster greenlit and Spain coming to world showcase?!?

I just think that 7-8 countries in very unrealistic that is all and this story that this post was referencing seemed like somebody just made it up rather than having real 'insider info'. Also, your correct it is an 'African Outpost', shows how much I pay attention.

Monsters Inc coaster greenlit and Spain coming to world showcase?!?

New Country @ EPCOT? If you look at the satellite photo of EPCOT there is hardly room for 7-8 new countries without some kind of buffer in between countries. However, there is certainly a large plot big enough for a new country between China and Germany behind where the current Australia...

Raise the Prices and lower prices

Who let Michael Eisner put up this post? "Disney should charge more money", give me a break! Disney Corporation is a multi-billion dollar a year company, they are doing just fine and don't need to charge any more than they do now. I think spending $3K/ per couple for a week is enough thank you.

    The UK in Epcot

I guess ever attraction at Disney can't be like the Rockin' Roller Coaster as far as excitement, but you would think that the American Pavilion would be a little more extensive. Then again I'm sure Disney's logic is that the focus is supposed to be on the other countries, not the United States...

    Space Ship Earth

As far as I know Walter Cronkite narrated Spaceship Earth from the begining until around 1995, when Jeremy Irons took the helm. I really liked it when Cronkite narrated it, but Irons has been a great replacement. I can't see why they would change the narration, except maybe to bring back...

    What was Figment like????

Figment was my favorite character as a child, after Mickey at the parks, and I was deeply saddened when he was replaced by Eric Idol. I'm glad to hear he's making a comeback. I guess Disney figured the 'Eric Idol- stuffed animal' was never going to be popular, but the Figment one always would...

    Abandoned FW pavilion concepts?

I really like that Weather-based attraction at EPCOT idea! Something like the Twister ride at Universal, but on a broader scale encorporating all types of weather. Like I've said before, The Living Seas needs to go!

Which ride needs to be "rehabbed"???

Rides in need MGM- I really think that it is time for Disney to abandon the simulator based rides(10yrs ago they were cutting-edge, but not now), in MGM's case: Star Tours Epcot- I love Epcot, but the Living Seas exhibit has to go! It is one that I don't enjoy in the least anymore, even...

    Favorite World Showcase Ride!

The Anthesis I don't know about anyone else, but nothing says all-out fun like the Canada film. Not only is it as exciting as a film about Canada can be without including hockey and Molson/Labatts (great canadian lagers), but they even make you stand up for the entire duration! Maelstrom...

    The UK in Epcot

UK Section of Epcot indeed in need I love Epcot as a whole and in particular the World Showcase. I have always wished, in almost 20 years of visiting Epcot, that Disney would throw some money into spruceing up the World Showcase, especially countries like Great Britain and Canada. Forget...

    Favorite Classic Ride

Spaceship Earth is a true classic Spaceship Earth is one ride that I go on at least three times whenever I am at Epcot and it never gets old. At 23 years old it is still my favorite from when I first went on it at 4 years old when the park first opened in 1983. I will always remember riding...

    WL or Contemprary?

Wilderness Lodge Hands Down Winner There is absolutely no question that the Wilderness Lodge is the place to stay in the Magic Kingdom Area, in my opinion. I know that some people love the Contemporary, but I really don't see how you could choose it over the Wilderness Lodge. From the outside...

    #1 Epcot Restaurant

Best Epcot Dining San Angel Inn has the best atmosphere. The food is good yet overpriced, but where in Disney isn't it though? Try as hard as you can to sit right on the water; it is the greatest! Plus it makes the extra money for dinner worth it.

    One Ride to Disappear....

Magic Kingdom: Get rid of Ariel's Grotto and put a real attraction there, 20,000 was better than nothing. EPCOT: Body Wars/Living Seas- EPCOT is my favorite park, but man are these rides/attractions dull! MGM: Star Tours, I know that all the Star Wars enthusiats consider that a...
