New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

The more I compare them, the more I like the new look. I just feel like the eyes on the current Mickey are looking two different directions.. But the new Mickey is actually looking at you, with both eyes, if that makes sense! He doesn't look as scary

I like the new heads they eyes are much better.

The old faces were way behind the standard. The eyes have to be slightly crossed (like they are now) to look focused.

Also, I went to six flags once back in 2004 and I met the current Bugs in his tux, so he he was definitely still wearing it after 2001.

At our park before his Birthday tux he wore a Bicentennial Uncle Sam Outfit...

And then they brought it Back...But, No pants..

These look great and are a improvement.
The heads are basically the same, but the shape of the eyes is now finally 'correct' and on model after all these years.

I remember when the current 'Mickey' design debuted in the early 1990s.
He also was great improvement over the previous '70s Mickey' head style that predated it.
Higher forehead, rounder ears, and more on-model facial fur lining patterns.

These new heads shown in this thread look even better and much more like the characters.
It is amazing what a simple eye shape can do in character design.
I've been waiting for them to 'correct' this for years!

After the string of negative news, I was worried when I saw the title of the thread, but these new heads look great! The current one has a dead expression with slightly cross eyes that the new version fixed. I hope these are rolled out quickly!

I know that you have personal nostalgia for the original version, but but what's your real problem with the second version? Its far more on model with the character.

Well just judging the pics the second one does have a 'death stare' look about him.

And there's the tux I was telling you about. That's a pretty on model bunch for the most part. Lola definitely looks quite a bit off in a number ways, though.

They look good. Much more evolved and photogenic. What character has gotten the most resculpts? I'm guessing Donald? I'd love to see Tigger and Pluto get a redo. And if they used them more, the Dwarfs. Get accurate colored costumes and not those day-Glo things.

Plus there all the Pooh Bear characters were articulated..
