New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

The way the mouth/lips look is a lot better, and the shape of the eyes is more ellipse shaped, which is more how it should be compared to the oval shaped.

Could be the lighting or WB in the picture.. i doubt they'll look that tan in real life!

I love the eyes. Much more "life" there then the empty eyes in the old heads.

I really like the new look. They're definitley reminiscent of the classic rounded style designs used at the entrance to WDW.

As you can see when you compare these images to each other, they look very different in color. Minnie isn't as tan as Mickey. So id say it's the lighting and color in this picture that makes them look extremely tan.. also look at the guy in them middle. He's almost red. Too red. So id say the color is slightly off in this picture (unless his skin got burned).

Looks way better to me too. I didn't realize how dead-eyed the old version looks until you compare. These come up out of the uncanny valley in a good way.

I think once the nostalgia fades we'll look back on the current version much in the same way we look at the Walt era foam heads.

He does have a stomach issue going on there.

Looking at this pic, it looks like they're using the same head sculpts, but with different face sculpts.

While I can see the difference, it is so marginal that it is IMHO silly that anyone would have an issue with this. And I tend to agree that the new version, if anything, looks better and more "full of life".

I'd guess that at least 90% of guests won't even realize that there is a change because they aren't going to be comparing them side by side.
