You're quick on the research. Was this photo taken recently? There was a new Tigger that was used during the Disney Live tour...

Lol. Back on the topic of Tigger though, I this version comes with Shanghai.Nope...I let google do the search...So..Probably a few years ago...Don't know.
I love the new designs, but it's going to take a while for me to get used to there new look especially Mickey. I love Minnie since they finally got rid of her wearing lipstick and eye-shadow.It's a vast improvement even in just the eyes. If you can't see that nostalgia is holding you back.
The White Rabbit looks like a generic Easter Bunny you would see at a mall mainly the cheaper kind.View attachment 138228
In the grand scheme...
Especially Chip and DaleI really question how the other characters will look like.....
Lol I've got a pic with bicentennial BugsAt our park before his Birthday tux he wore a Bicentennial Uncle Sam Outfit...
And then they brought it Back...But, No pants..
Does this mean they will have to update Talking Mickey in the future?I'm ready for Disney to bring them overseas.
And the Mickey and Minnie's oval shaped ears used from the mid 60's until 1989.Looks way better to me too. I didn't realize how dead-eyed the old version looks until you compare. These come up out of the uncanny valley in a good way.
I think once the nostalgia fades we'll look back on the current version much in the same way we look at the Walt era foam heads.
Definitely considering that Shanghai will probably have a version of it.Does this mean they will have to update Talking Mickey in the future?
Will it be this version of Pooh?I did some searching and judging by the concept art of Minnie's Confectionary, Pooh might look a little different too. http://www./2015/10/photos-shanghai-disneyland-releases-new-concept-art-for-treasure-cove/
The more I compare them, the more I like the new look. I just feel like the eyes on the current Mickey are looking two different directions.. But the new Mickey is actually looking at you, with both eyes, if that makes sense! He doesn't look as scary

Some heads have them a bit more centered, but they still never look as good as the new one. The flaws of the old one really show in comparison.
And this design for Mickey and Minnie used in the early 60's which nobody talks about. They look younger, more kid-like in the new versions...I don't have a problem with it. How many times has Mickey officially changed over the history of the parks? at least 3-4 I think
