I don't get the whole Tron thing, but that's really awesome!!
TRONcore, the new tag ending for World of Color, will premiere this Sunday with with previews starting tonight. It utilizes new projector and laser effects.
The encore begins right after the main show ends - ErikInTheCity describes the integration of the new scene into the show:
The new TRON segment is the very first encore for WoC since the show premiered in June. The show encores were part of the initial concept for the show, they were designed as a way to add new scenes and keep the show always changing. With TRONcore finally here, I think it really demonstrates the beauty of the WoC system and its versatility. Nights at DCA just got even better!

Darn we just came back from seeing it 1 week prior to the new encore... I'm not sure if it would have been enough to make me a fan of WoC though. From my point of view, WoC is a poor sustitute for DisneyWorld's Fantasmic... Both shows are on the water... both project things on mist... Except one has comfortable seats where you can enjoy the show and the other has standing and pushing room only... and of course 1 totaly destroys the water view in the daylight when all the foutain heads are shown in the lagoon.
You shouldn't compare the two. But mostly the fountain heads DO drop below the water, but can't after the earthquake. They can fix it and take the popular show down for months or keep it running to satisfies guests.

Please join me in congratulating the hundreds of talented people from around the world who worked on this project for the past five years!
It’s time for “World of Color” to take a bow.
The hit show celebrates a big milestone tonight – its 500th performance at Disney California Adventure park. Thank you to the more than two million guests who have seen this spectacular display of water and special effects since it opened on June 11, 2010.
In thanks to all the “World of Color” fans, we have a fun trivia quiz today about the show, plus a look back at some of the great video highlights from Paradise Bay. This video is one that has been a favorite on the Disney Parks Blog:

I don't know if this has been mentioned, however.. According to my friends lead at WOC, and take it with a grain of salt.. but this all the cast members are talking about.. They will be removing the Aladdin scene from WOC and adding tangled in its place.
So I went back 5 or 6 pages here....looks like you all missed the WoC new scene programming the last few nights...too bad, gonna look pretty cool when the "season" arrives
Some World of Color rumors to catch up on, grain of salt as always.

I have it on pretty good authority that the new scenes being programmed are for a Halloween show.
Tonight is the last night to see the World of Color "TRON-core" at DCA. (ElecTRONica still runs through Labor Day, don't panic)
