And after what you said about the REST of the kitchen things, I dont know if I want to say goodbye to your chunky milk guy:lol: ...They may be cardboard cut outs, but atleast they are not singing bears:rolleyes:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

But you MUST!! He has SENIORITY!

In all seriousness they are cute. And colorful. :)

I *do* think people will gather. At least Cast Members, and all of those who have had word of mouth.

Well, it's too bad that Food Rocks is having its last performance today. I did actually enjoy some of the songs. Thanks to Fud Wrapper and the Peach Boys for all the great years, we'll miss you all.

Nope. No one goes there.

There was a very young Japanese boy who was in AWE with the Abra Cadabra Merlin display. He called his parents over, and his expression was priceless. He was about two or three. . . walking around. Sometimes, at Disney, the true magic doesn't lie in the thrills, but in the true simple, peaceful pavilions. :(

Anyway. . . now I'll have to plan my trips during the most crowded seasons. Luckily, thanks to AE being down, I don't have to worry about Magic Kingdom anymore.

I have a pic too...but it shows the opposite of yours Grizz. I took these Labor Day weekend. As you can see this may be why it is going seasonal.

Look at the people to the right. You're staring at an abandoned show. Also looks like it's night.

Anyway. . . don't make it seasonal. Close it, and fix it*.

I agree. But I don't want some random coaster - I want an educational, breakthrough in technology thrill ride. This would NOT take away from the rest of the pavilion, just the way the pavilion was made in 1989. *sigh* It's not hard to imagine them wasting space.

It was the day...I have a shot of the glass ceiling from that day too. It was the middle of the afternoon actually.

Unfortunately, I wanna agree with ya Grizz, because I don't want to see WoL get shuttered. But there is no demand for anything there. Even the big draw (Body Wars) does nothing for the pavilion anymore.

Its gone. This is the first day its not operating. Its closed, and it had its last show last night (which me, tifani, and kenan saw). But yea, I think its time they get that out, and get something new (I said it Grizz)

As for Wonders of Life, yea, it is closing monday. I hope they rehab it before it opens back up, because alot of the roof tiles had water spots, and were messed up. It needs to be fixed.

As for Body Wars not doing much for the pavilion, When MS was going thru guest preview phases, and opened at 4pm, I would go sit on a bench at, like, 3 and wait for it open. Usually a CM was always standing outside, and you'd be surprised how many people came by and asked where Body Wars was. Since MS opened though, I dunno.

perhaps they could get another health company soon? then make a new movie for bodywars. it is easier to do than make a newer ride.

Then slowly work around that.

But Hopefully they do clean the place up while it is closed.

i agree w/ grizz a well thought up attraction to replace body wars i mean the person who thought of body wars in the first place wasn't thinking all togther too well i mean having a simulation ride is enough to get people sick but now put that w/ riding thorugh a human body just to find a splinter is riducluous and is very sick and makes many people sick i think its replacement should be a better thought up attraction and morally sound

If they could redo Body Wars using those CTX Rovers, that could improve it greatly. Keep the vehicle encosed, like it is now, but at certain parts of the show, the sides of the vehicle could open up, revealing the interior workings of the body.

They should do the same thing with Star Tours and have three different tours that guests could choose from. Just wishful thinking, but it could be very cool.

sorry andre but i feel the whole situation of going through the human body on a ride is alittle immoral and disgusting i mean like i said its my honest opinion i ment morally sound like to do a ride w/ the theme and not have you ridding through the human body and then come off it and run for the bathroom like most people i see do

Maybe Mission Space:EXPRESS (in case you don't want to wait in the long lines at the regular attraction) ;)

Actually, when my family and I were in WDW for the summer, we stayed for a week and we examined the crowd numbers on a day to day basis.

When we entered the Wonders of Life (on a Saturday), the place was totally empty. The snack place was deserted (haha.. "dessert"ed... just realized that), and there was only one CM working that place. The Making of Me wasn't running, and Body Wars had no wait. It was a shame to see the place like that.

So anyway, my family and I sat down to share a "Low Fat Brownie Sundae"!

:slurp:

Do you remember back in the days when Body Wars actually had a LONG LINE?!?!?!?!? I remember when Body Wars had a line that was actually longer then 60 mins! LOL

Body Wars was the signature attraction in 1989 just like Mission Space is today. Time has passed. . . and thrills get 'outdated.' I would replace Body Wars with a new kind of thrill ride.

Was anyone else ever named the "Family of the Day" at Wonders of Life?

Our family was back in....which year was the 25th anniversary? :lookaroun my memory is fleeing me right now....:hammer: :brick:

Anyways, as we were walking into the pavillion, the CM at the door asked my brother if he'd like to be the "kid of the day."

She led us into a room up above the floor area, can't really remember which direction she took us....

Anyways, up there they offered us any food/drink we wanted and got to have a private meeting with Goofy! He posed for pictures with us and then my brother got to play baseball with him downstairs.

After this was all done, we were taken through a secret door to get to the front of the line at Body Wars!..... back in the days when there still WAS a line.

We got a certificate (which is hanging in our family room) with a picture of Cinderella's castle as the cake (never really liked that idea, but anyways...) and my brother got a Wonders of Life pin (pre-pin trading mania)

This was a great idea. We always thought of it as one of the little things about WDW that made us love it so much and made it stand out from other vacation spots.

They should really try and do something to update the pavillion rather than keep in closed for an undetermined amount of time *cough 20k lagoon cough*....:lookaroun

IMO I wouldn't give a rat's a$$ if Body Wars was closed down. I just think the whole idea is stupid. And I, personally, think it's disgusting.. when we got off last time I almost felt like I was gonna puke... it's one thing to watch surgeries on TV but it's another thing to be in the body... I just didnt like it... and I wont be sad at all if it goes :D

I will however miss Cranium Command.. but it's rather outdated... actually, the whole pavillion is rather outdated....
