Which rides @ MK are worth riding @ night?...

I was just curious which of the outdoor/partially outdoor rides give a different or better experience at night. I would imagine that the TTA and astro orbitor would be worth it, but what about rides like the Jungle Cruise or BTM?

BTM is really worth it...because at Night it has that factor of not being able to see everything so it seems like you're going a lot faster than you are. Love Thunder at night.

Yup, Big Thunder is my favorite at night, along with Splash. Also, Jungle Cruise is 100x better at night. It adds more of an air of mystery because you can't see the next show scenes.

I love TTA at night, seeing Tomorrowland and the Castle in their nighttime glory.

Astro Orbiter is a great spot for wishes.

At night the HM seems a little creepier, especially while waiting outside in the Queue and when exiting near the "Pet Cemetery".

I know nobody likes this attarction but if you climb up the Swiss family Robinson's tree house it is a great sight to see the castle and the entrance to tomorrowland!

TTA, Splash, BTMRR, and JC come to mind.

I would also throw in Space. Even though it takes place indoors, coming out to night sky after a ride on the mountain is special to me. :shrug:

But seriously BTMR and JC are totaly different experiences at night and are definatley worth it.

Also Splash is a great viewing point for wishes if you can time it right.

Oh I forgot one, Astro Orbitor is fun at night with Tomorrowland and the rest of the park all lit up, the views of SM, the Contemporary, the Castle, etc. etc. (Views in general) much fun...

JC is probably the most different expereince at night, and it is not to be missed.

My wife made us ride BTMM 4 times in a row the last time we were there during EMH. Of course it helped that there was no wait at 1:15 AM.

Really, anything outside or with a good outdoor queue is worht seeing.

You haven't experienced the MK until you've been there after 12AM! :animwink:

I guess any ride that takes place outside would be nice at nighttime, but I especially like Jungle Cruise at night.

Agree with what's already been said- Big Thunder, Splash, and Jungle Cruise (particularly if you have a really good skipper) are my favorite nighttime rides at MK.

Splash Mountain at Night is one of my favourite Disney memories from when I was about 7 years old (it was my favourite ride then).

Jungle Cruise at night is awesome as well, it really adds to the atmosphere.

We love Big Thunder, Splash, Swiss Family Tree House, Astro Orbiter and Indy Speedway. MK at night is amazing.
