Which rides @ MK are worth riding @ night?...

BTMR and Splash Mtn are our favorites. :) We sometimes wait until night before we ride it for the first time on the trip. Also getting a log to ourselves on Splash, at night, was one of the best rides we had!

My new ambition is to ride JC at night!

IMO, BTMRR is great at night but not quite as spectacular as EE (ok, not MK but still). The DLP version of BTMRR is out of this world though, truly amazing.

I also like TTA, the Astro Orbiter and well... pretty much anything - even the indoor rides!

I did BTM at night when I was younger and wouldn't go on it until about 10 years later, haha It freaked me out!!!!

Now, though, I would say that BTM and Splash are the best at night. Also, my BF and I were at the P&PP last May, and we went up to Astro Orbiter right when the fireworks were starting. They let us stay up there to watch the fireworks, and it was incredibly nice and relaxing. That's also an awesome ride for nighttime. I also recommend TTA at night, because you can see beautiful views.

The TTA ride is cool to ride at night due to all of the neon lights throughout TomorrowLand. Riding Pirates of the Caribbean is cool at night as well. And you cant leave out Haunted Mansion either.

How are Pirates / Haunted Mansion any different during the day?

My favorites at night pretty much the same as most people.

Splash is great at night, as well as BTMRR. Almost prefer both that way. Also, I love TTA anytime throughout a trip....but riding around at night with the lights of tomorrowland is just incredible.

Any of the outdoor rides are different experiences at night. I would never recommend Astro Orbiter unless you like a long wait in a boring queue and bruised ribs. If you can get past that the views are great. I don't see what would be different about riding Pirates at night.

I have a sentimental reason for prefering Peter Pan at night, although admittedly, it is no different at night than in the day since it is inside. I just remember on our honeymoon, doing that ride at nighttime, so if possible, I prefer to do it at nighttime. But again, that's more of a sentimental reason that has nothing to do with the ride experience itself.

I personally prefer The Country Bear Jamboree, Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Monsters Inc laugh floor more at night. :lookaroun

Try Jungle cruise.

Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion are fun at night because the rides recreate nighttime scenes, and the illusion is more believable when you exit the ride into nighttime and not into bright daylight. It's a subtle difference over riding in the day, but it's one that I enjoy.

Another great ride to ride at night is the Carousel. The lights glow and are more magical at night, and the view of the surrounding area is more obscured from view when riding making the experience more about the beautiful carousel and less about seeing the surroundings.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this, but the WDW Railroad is also fun to ride around the Magic Kingdom at night and don't forget the Tea Cups.

I think Space Mountain might be darker even inside at night due to having less light leaks...correct me if I'm wrong. Of course, as everyone else mentioned, Jungle Cruise and Thunder Mountain are impacted the most, followed by Splash. TTA is nice too.

My wife and I enjoy a trip around Tomorrowland on the people mover at night. And when it's cold we'll buy hot chocolate and ride it.

Like others have said, Big Thunder and Jungle Cruise are incredibly better at night. Big Thunder under the fireworks are great.

Additionally, Swis Family Treehouse is great too at night. Pretty cool.

BTMRR is a great attraction to go on at night. It's truly a much different ride when you ride it at night. It's a bit more creepier, but in a good way. I love going on the HM at night, even though you're inside the mansion the entire time, it's the feel of going into the HM at night...seeing the graveyard is a bit creepy. I also enjoy SpM at night, just the view of Cinderella's Castle is beautiful.
