When is that major AP overhaul happening?

I wish people would buy less Annual Passes.
People aren’t going into debt for Annual Passes because Disney spreads the payments. If you charge for the AP in full for your entire family, it could be up to $2000 or more easily. If the payments break it into less than $200 a month, no one is going into debt.

You are going into debt for $2000 to Disney if you pay in installments. As I said before if you can't afford the up front cost for entertainment then you probably shouldn't have it.

Maybe the auto industry can do what the video game industry does and take away the right to drive that car after they decide not to support it anymore.
Due to all the construction kickbacks, governmental corruption and inconvenience, it isn't profitable.

Well if we see a large scale autonomous fleet being introduced I could see car ownership becoming nonexistent. But we are still like 20-25 years off from that.

It’s not debt if you pay it off and Disney doesn’t collect. If you can’t pay, Disney usually suspends the pass. It seldom goes into collections.

Except for the growing number of people who make their living with their cars (Uber, Lyft drivers, etc).

And just like before those people will find some other line of work. You can't stop progress just because some will be out of work. I know we've been discussing lately about workers rights and wages, but at some point we have to look toward the future.

You mean whatever jobs are left over after the robots take over? ;)

OK, I'm outta this thread. Carry on.

It's the nature of Man. Oil based fuel will be used until it's completely gone no matter what the environmentalists say.

Well with a big push by large industries to renewable fuels sources, even by the oil industry, I give it 20-25 years before the big switch. About the same time when autonomous vehicles become the primary mode of transportation.

Of course a major catastrophic issue may accelerate that.
