Allow me to be a little mushy here - I was thinking about how it feels when you first get to WDW and head to the Magic Kingdom. You get through the turnstiles (after being frustrated that the person in front of you doesn't know how to insert their ticket.. or for some reason the red light keeps popping up so they have to keep putting their ticket back in... but I digress Anyway, you walk through the tunnel, under the railroad station and this feeling of anticipation comes over you. Finally you reach the end of the tunnel and there you are... on Main Street USA. Can you feel it? How do they do it? To me, it's almost like the hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of dollars spent to come to WDW is worth its weight simply for those first few seconds you step onto Main Street and get hit with that "feeling." I don't know if it's a feeling of coming home or that you've reached heaven. I just know I don't feel better anywhere or at anytime than that moment. There's just something about Main Street and I am thankful it's there because I'm not sure the feeling would be the same if when you entered the park you walked right into say Fantasyland for example.
Ok, the more replies I get with people who agree with me and can relate to that "feeling" will make me feel more normal - as opposed to others who think I may need to be put into a small room with padded walls. :ROFLOL:
