I'm retired from full marathons. 8-mile runs at 0400 are just no fun anymore.

Not even the Half or 10K?

But, yeah, I understand. I'll keep going until my body says "STOP!!!" or I just can't motivate myself to get up at 2AM. The first race of every weekend I'm "why did I sign up for this? :arghh: " :p

I ran today. For the 4th consecutive day.

After Dopey and all it’s running and training, I took off for January. Then I took Feb off. And March. Oh I took April off too. I just didn’t want to run!! The thought sickened me. (I still surfed, lifted, yogad, and biked.) But no running.

But now I feel ready. So I started up again.

Today was 3miles at 7:40pace. And I felt good.

Hope to be popping back in pretty often, especially so y’all can inspire me!

I had the same after the marathon. Lots of fitness but no running for 4/5 months.

Last year we saw a couple get engaged right in front of us during wishes. A photo pass photographer and the family asked guests to clear a spot for a family photo. Wishes started and he got down on one knee and popped the question. She said yes.

You know this is a forum on running, and this particular thread is to report what you do daily, right? I think you may have posted this comment in the wrong spot. ☺

I love my practice! Seriously can’t say how much it helped my running.

Ran a fast mile on the ocean boardwalk then a fast mile home on the bay boardwalk. Beautiful evening.

Lifted back and bicep earlier :)

Anyone who thinks yoga isn't a workout is crazy. Lots of core and balance.
