Don't actually have the Edge around to photograph at the moment, but I can tell you it seems a lot smoother of a ride than our last lease (2007 Escape). Not to mention the Sirius radio options... Pop Classics, anyone? :D

I can't for the life of me remember what colour it is, nor how to describe it; the shade names are all screwy in the auto/paint industry anyway.

Well... Chrysler shuts down all ops on Friday.

http://jalopnik.com/5112800/chrysler-ceasing-production-friday-wont-promise-to-come-back

Who thinks they wont be back?

I say its 60(wont)-40(will)... 60% that they wont resume ops on Jan 19 2009 (perhaps maybe after that... at a very limited capacity... but I dunno). Scary stuff... we might just be witnessing the death of an entire car company here. :(

I never really liked Chrysler products... still.. this is very scary... and very real :(

I'm thinking about upgrading from my 1996 Chevy S-10 to a 2008 Chevy Colorado. The deals that GM are offering right now are hard to pass up, and I'm in dire need of a new vehicle. I'm going to look Friday and test drive one to see how I like it.

Don't like the Silverado? I've owned one in the past and absolutely loved it.
Good luck...and if you do pull the trigger...make sure to take pictures!

Just curious...what color? I know a lot of the Colorado colors will be available on the Camaro also.

I think somebody will come up with some money and they'll stay around in some form . . .

. . . though the name and personality could end up being lost. There are renewed rumors about a GM merger. What concerns me about that possiblity is my favorite Dodge/Chrysler product is the Challenger, and I doubt GM/Chrysler will build both the Challenger and Camaro with the current concern over oil prices.:(

Probably the most valuable thing Chrysler has going for it is the Jeep brand. It's a good bet Jeep will continue in some form, and I'd be surprised if the name isn't retained by whoever buys it.

Over the past recent years, Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth has had some interesting cars: Challenger, Viper, Charger/300, Crossfire, but they've never seemed to be able to bring those cars up to their potential, and all their most interesting models really chug gas.

And their meat and potatoes line-up (Sebring etc.) really leaves me limp. I just hope that cool electric Lotus doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

I have a 2005 Colorado 4 door...let me tell you, that thing is a tank in the snow. I got bigger tires right away and that dropped my mileage a bit. We had the bad blizzard back two years ago with over 4 feet of snow and I was just fine.

Just be aware that it is a truck...and it drives like a truck.

Test Track now has a base model Camaro. (It's Aqua Blue Metallic).

It should be on display until February.

(When I say "Base"...I mean "Base")

No spoiler or foglamps, steel rims (18"). V6...cloth interior, etc.

It's still a nice looking ride though :)

The Silverado is too much truck for me. I don't need that big of a truck at this stage in my life. I really don't need a truck, but that's what I prefer to drive.

I bought a black 2008 Colorado Crew Cab today for $15000 with only 18,000 miles on it. :sohappy: I'll get pictures tomorrow, but here's the picture from the dealer:

I drove it today and it is lightyears better than my 1996 S-10 Z-R2 which rides hard...very hard.

I'm glad I opted for the used crew cab in lieu of the the new extended cap. Much more room:sohappy::cool:

Now, I think I'm gonna a decal of the D with the Mickey globe inside it like on the monorails and boats to put on the back window:drevil:

Yikes... those tires and rims and very very bland... looks like the donut you would find in the trunk.

I know... its "base". :) But you would think GM would of gussied it up a bit... for it being a "show" car.

I agree...I like the deeper dish look with the polished aluminum ring...and the black...but the style needs to be different.

Hello.

My name is Robert and I have an addiction.

I just left the Collection in Coral Gables with a new car.

It's German, it's fast as !!!!, and I call her Judy. Judy is a Porsche Boxster S RS60 #1316/1800, and I own 1/4 of her (my brother in law owns 1/2, and my other brother in law owns the other 1/4)

She is in my possession until the 7th of January, when I give her back to the half owner.

And then she's in my possession again in March for 2 weeks, and from May until August.

Please help me with my addiction.

can't find an XD reader... but no worries! We have a camera with SD cards and an SD reader.

Enjoy! I'd like to get a better shot of the front, but people have begun to arrive to our New Year's eve party, so I can't get to the front very easily.

Oh, the car is 1361/1960... my dyslexia kicked in with some other documents I have lying around
