Well I just fired back an email to Disney asking what type of new land is being build and where. So we shall see....

I have been responding if you read through entire thread. And for those that still don't believe it's real, why not write to them your self and see what response you receive. Also someone asked for a screen shot of the email so here is that. Anything else ???
Why does the second sentence of the email start mid-sentence? "...and evaluating new ideas..." What happened to the beginning of that sentence? Looks like a prank to me.

I think the OP is telling the truth.
I do believe that Adam from WDW Celebrations posted sometime last week about a new land going into DAK. He said it was to be Mysterious Island or something of that sort.
But who knows. Carsland at DCA is going to be and running by 2012, and they haven't started one bit of demoltion or construction on it.
So yes, a new land can be built in DAK by then. Heck, all of Disneyland was built in one year!

You raised my hopes with the thread title and dashed them a bit OP. I was hoping for JII redo confirmation...
Though a new area for Animal Kingdom would be nice, especially if they put more fantasy creature stuff in.

3 years is quite a bit longer then it is taking to build harrypotterland so it's not an unsubstantiated rumor. Something is definitely happening with CMM. I mean whenever has a "land" just kinda dissolved away like CMM has?

Sigh.. first off... IT takes time to develop ANY attraction, let alone an entire 'land'.. 2-3 years to develop an entire land is a totally acceptable (and practical) timeline..
Meanwhile.. Regardless of the authenticity of this email (which I believe it's likely a informed CM that spoke out of turn, and it is a real email) there is a new land coming for AK in that time frame..
Aside from reading the handwriting on the wall... Pay attention to the hints you've been given..
Do you think Pocahontas is homeless for no reason? Ask youself... Hmmm.. How much space encompasses the rear currently 'back stage' area of Camp Minnie mickey.... you know Camp Minnie Mickey.. The temp land, that was supposed to be there for a short while until the permanent-previously-planned-during-the-initial-development-of-the-park was ready..

Do you know how much I wish Disney would get the theme park rights for Gurren Lagann? Could get a freakin' epic thrill ride out of the Battle of Teppelin and the war against the Anti-Spirals.
Also, Dreamfinder is totally a retired Spiral Warrior. The Dreamport's probably some Dai-Gurren scale Mecha, the pavilion symbol's a spiral, he was able to create Figment out of mere thought to serve as his Boota of sorts. But then the Anti-Spirals in management had to take him out...
