I had heard that a particular item in the jungle was being renamed - and neither I, nor the skipper friend I heard it from were particularly happy about it. But there ya go!

let them scream at me. as i recall correctly the guests are always right. a cast member told me that at one of the resorts. it was the fancy resort with the pirate ship water slide resort.

I have not been able to read this entire thread, so my apologies if this is a repeat question or repeat info.

The MICECHAT WDW board is reporting that the JC will be closed most of 2010. And that a large (ala SW, Mansion, HoP, Pirates) redo of the JC is in store for next year. it makes sense considering once you add in Space Mt most all of the major E-Tickets at the MK have been upgraded over the last several years.

And if the 40th were still a "trending topic" for rumors, I would really think that they are going after the classics for a reason. But I dunno about that anymore...:eek:

I started the thread over there as well.

The big redo was the plan I was told. Who knows if it'll defintely happen.

While Jungle Cruise badly needs an extensive refurbishment, I'm not sure that the changes that seem to be coming to the script are for the better.

First TTA, now JC.

Because it would destroy the terrific entire family ride that is the Jungle Cruise into yet another kiddy ride. Not too mention the loss of another classic to another needless change.

I'm so happy, as would the majority of guests, that it never happened/won't happen.

if that happens scar they might as well bull doze the attraction. its making me want to move back to california at least Disneyland knows not to screw with peoples emotions.
