if that happens scar they might as well bull doze the attraction. its making me want to move back to california at least Disneyland knows not to screw with peoples emotions.

Rides shouldn't effect anyone's emotions besides making people happy. Don't let disappointments get to you *cough*TTA spiel haters*cough* Odds are, there are other things to pay attention to rather than focusing and being bothered by a negative.

Well, I work TTA... so there is something of an emotional attachment to the old narration.

They're only training 2-3 people at a time with the new script, and with the shear number of skippers, at this point you've ot a low chance of hearing the new script.:wave:

thats what i do because i finally get a chance to rest my feet. i walk all over the park. heck im all over the park so often street performers in the parades and at High school musical practically know me lol.

There's always been things we "can't" say. That doesn't mean people don't say them. I haven't seen the script, nor do I know how strict they're being as of yet.

And then there are those cruises filled entirely with an unapproved script, but they sure are fun.

Speak for yourself (and a lot of others, natch). I like the carpets. Granted, somebody lost their globe when they but an attraction from a movie set in the middle east the south seas-themed Adventureland, but carpets > Dumbo any day.

A good Cruise will be one where the Jungle gets a nice refurb and the skipper remembers that they're only part of the show.

That or with Jeff Lessel or Babs. Or Rhonda (when she does her spiel on parking trams...:lookaroun)

I've had an update on the Jungle Cruise changes today.

New spiel is currently scheduled to debut around November 15 2009.

Around 90% of the spiel will remain the same, but lots of new material will be available for the skippers to use. Some of the new material has been brought over from Disneyland, along with all new WDI material. Don't worry though, all the classic lines will remain with the exception of the "inspires you to go..." line at Inspiration Falls. That one has been reworked to be somewhat less potty humor based. In the new script, Chief Name is also reverted back to his original name of "Trader Sam".

I've been told that most guests aren't going to notice much of a change, but for those of you who are big Jungle Cruise fans, look out for some great new improvements to the spiel come mid November, and maybe more next year.

Nov 15th should be the first time it's heard - assuming the trained skippers follow the directions.
