I'd be surprised if they don't get it down to a PG-13 for the movie...just because an R automatically takes away so much earnings potential.

(Of course, it did look like they might show Dr. Manhattan's "reactor" from the trailer.) :lookaroun

Nah, I know for sure it'll be R. If even just for that, which I know will be happening.

That's great to hear. I think Quentin Tarantino kind of has somthing to do with that.

There are so many movies that could've been better if they were rated R. Look at Pearl Harbor, it really could've benifited from Saving Private Ryan gory realism but the lack of it just made the SFX take the spotlight and the whole bombing scene lost its horrificness.

No, I actually think the Judd Apatow R-rated comedies did that. They grossed way more than Quentin's recent movies.

And for Pearl Harbor: It could've been NC-17 and it would've stunk just as bad as long as Bay was behind the camera.

I don't know very much about Watchmen. I've seen a trailer and it looks interesting.

My question to you fans: What do you think of the Copyright lawsuit going on? I just read online that the trial will be allowed to go forward and that Fox will be asking for the release to be delayed. Does Fox have a case?

Just wondering, I hope I don't start something ugly.

:lol: True. But even with the lousiness of the movie, having the bombing scene be more bloody and horiffic still would've given an emotional impact.

But other than that, good god its such a bad movie. They should've concentrated more on the men on the ships rather than a couple of buff-drinklotses flying planes and fighting over nurse supermodels.

Yea, Peal Harbor is 3 hours long and maybe less than half an hour of that is spent on the actual attack on Pearl Harbor.

As for the lawsuit, it's annoying, but as long as I get my movie on time I'll be fine. If it delays the opening, I will personally go down and mob the FOX building!

I'm sure it will get worked out, it's just annoying. Fox it seems just likes to alienate fans, there's another reason I'm mad at them, movie related. I just can't seem to remember why...

Ok, so I started reading The Watchmen. I'm REALLY enjoying it. I love the writing style of the whole thing.

Right now, Dr. Manhattan has gone into Exile on Mars. That's as far as I have read.

I was really wondering if I was going to like it...but the way the events are laid out...it's awesome and I can't wait for this movie now.

(BTW, people were asking who their favorite is...I can't say The Comedian because of what he "tried" to do to one of the other Crimestoppers...but I like his attitude...I gotta go with Rorschach (sp?) :lol: )
