Another words, they need to start making lids and straws out of that same heavy plastic the bottles are made out of.Plastic bottles can be recycled. Plastic straws and lids cannot.
Leaving aside the wink emoji, is it really the case that drinking without a straw is considered uncouth?!It's cool.
Nobody here is judging you for being a heathen.

No. I forgo straws if they are the paper ones. It’s tough for little kids though.Leaving aside the wink emoji, is it really the case that drinking without a straw is considered uncouth?!
Do you really think its realistic to walk around a theme park with an open cup?!? Unless you are finishing it right there its impossible. Between people using strollers going on rides etc.Leaving aside the wink emoji, is it really the case that drinking without a straw is considered uncouth?!

I mean seriously. I'll respect what they're trying to do if they include changes that cost them revenue rather than just things that (shocker) save them money.Ok Stop making and selling plastic toys if they really cared about the environment!
Missing the point. Paper straws are awful. Tell me otherwiseYou can ask for a lid at the counter and they will give it to you.
I Think it has more to do with Disney pretending that they are doing it for the environment. If they were actually making an environmental effort, people might be annoyed but they'd probably understand.Everyone is complaining about walking around without a lid. Ask for one when you order. Problem solved?

Fair enough. I think my feelings on the matter stem in large part from my being British. In the UK (at least when and where I grew up), straws came pretty much only with those juice drinks in cartons and at McDonald’s. Otherwise, you just drank your drink straight from the glass or cup, even as a child.No. I forgo straws if they are the paper ones. It’s tough for little kids though.

I don't honestly think so.Leaving aside the wink emoji, is it really the case that drinking without a straw is considered uncouth?!
I’ve done it with blue and green milk multiple times and not had any issues. The cups they come in are small and sturdy, however.Do you really think it’s realistic to walk around a theme park with an open cup?!? Unless you are finishing it right there it’s impossible. Don’t get me started on ice! I’ll never understand why Americans are content to pay for a soft drink and receive less than half their money’s worth.ice melted outside faster
