Upcoming DHS closings ...

If you really think this.. you grossly under estimate just how much of a production F! is. Your thinking wouldn't even apply to a stage show.. let alone a integrated live performance like F! that includes stunts, large scale fire effects, pyro effects, lasers, multiple boats, integrated live and pre-recorded performances, etc.

Ponder all the things that need checking to ensure they are still operating as intended.. even after they've been proven to be setup initially (your bug comments)

- stage lifts
- the large puppet/stage figure systems
- lighting controls
- motion controlled light platforms
- audio control systems
- audio playback sources
- fountain systems
- projection systems
- laser systems
- queing
- numerous boats - and their associated bilge, steering, and propulsion systems
- fire effects controls and safety systems (plus staging/fueling)
- pyro effects, controls, and safety systems (plus staging/loading those..)
- actor harness safety systems
- inspections of performance areas for issues/safety problems

And the list goes on.. and this is all regular stuff that must be done all the time to ensure show reliability and safety for the performers. Shows like F! go through hours of prep and inspections by a huge group of Techs. All live performances go through such staging before performers are brought in, but F! takes that to a whole new level because of the # of elements and different technology involved. Even the safety elements alone for pyro and stunts alone require dedicated run-throughs and safety checks before any performance.

This isn't just 'see what bulbs are out'..
OK...point taken.

Now explain why Disneyland doesn't have this problem.

Maybe they do and all of the smog clouds people's minds so they don't notice any issues. I find our swamp gas can actually provide clarity of mind. I find five minutes of summer Floridian air to be as effective as an hour of yoga.

I wish I could like this multiple times simply for the Wilder/Wonka awesomeness!!!

What I don't understand is the Beauty and the Beast show.. I do realize it's play for a ridiculously long time.. But I believe there would be other projects to work on more important than that show. At least it's good! Why not work on Backlot Tour or, in my opinion, Indiana Jones and L!M!A!..

IJ and LMA both don't get as much audience as BatB does. At least the show gets a good audience each time it plays. I've been to Indy and LMA during the October season and they barely get a crowd sometimes. I know that theres barely anyone in the park those days.. but when I go to BatB still I see a huge crowd to see it .-.

Just my personal opinion.. and I wouldn't doubt that some of my facts are wrong considering i haven't been in about a year.

Maybe it's because people are going to Hollywood Studios and expecting it to be like Magic Kingdom: magical, family-friendly, snorting Disney IP like cocaine, sterile, safe, kiddie.

In fairness, they do. They just manage to (mostly) fix things quicker. And they have a far more technically complex show over there too.

So, again, the questio becomes why couldn't DHS adopt the methods used at DL to be more efficient at upkeeping Fantasmc, which could free up time during the day for the theater to be used for something else?

As I said in the first post - they do hours of prep before show time and they do stuff on third shift. Dhs just needs to 'work different'. They have the LUXURY of an empty theatre all day.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I think they were trying to say Big A** Panama Hat, which is WRONG. It should have been BAFH, Indy wore a Fedora.
Thank you. I was actually trying to get to Big A** Fedora Hat.

Finally, I decided it was like "phat" . . . Big A** Phedora Hat.
Although, I think saying "fedora hat" is redundant. Isn't a fedora a hat, simply by virtue of being a fedora?

At a guess because its god ugly in daylight and has no shade.

Or because they don't want to.

Sure. But my question is more about, if they needed something to increase capacity and provide attractions while half the park is under construction, then the Fantasmic theater could be an option for a day time show.

I'm not expecting such a thing to happen, I'm just saying it could be used.

The lack of roof/heat concern is a good one though.

That problem is easy to solve:

But he crossed out watched and then started laughing menacingly and then turned into mini devils.

Think about how good the view would be at the very end.
You wouldn't be seeing the show, you'd be seeing backstage happenings.

Also I went mad with power.
