What are some unique (so no toothpaste, underpants, etc.) items you pack to take to Disney? You know, the type of things that other people might not think of, but you find really helpful.

Some of the things we pack include:

-Yankee Candle (to give our trip a "scent")
-Starbucks VIA
-Moisture wicking socks and shoes
-Sun hats (Sarah, not me)
-External HD

...among a bunch of other things. Our full list is here: http://www.disneytouristblog.com/featured-post/disney-trip-packing-guide-list/

Safety pins and tweezers (you never know what kind of emergencies will present themselves). Also a small bottle of liquid dish soap for washing our refillable mugs.

we always take small thin/light weight rain ponchos. the kind that are about the size of a pack of playing cards. they're easier to take into the parks and lighter weight to wear if it rains. oh does the occasional bottle with vodka in it count lol?

Our first trip with our two year old daughter:
A child harness (don't judge, she runs incredibly fast and hates holding hands)
BOB the stroller
Child ID tattoos (in case she gets lost!!)
A handheld fan with flashlight (for the dark rides...it's not a bright light!)
Headphones, to watch Dora on the iPad and to muffle loud shows/rides if too intense.
The kureg machine
Finally...preggie pops as I will be six months along with our second!!
Am I missing anything?!?!

Are the Chiily Pads only available online and who makes them?

chilly pads are made by frog toggs and I got mine at a hibbett sports. I have seen them also at academy sports and I think i saw them at walmart too this past weekend.

I was able to cut mine in half so that we have two.

Oh My - I can not believe I forgot the most important thing that I pack:

MY VARIOUS MINNIE MOUSE EAR HEADBANDS.

I think I have about 7 different one and I usually pack them all as long as they are either a generic season or appropriate for the season we are going.

I have to be able to wear the one that matches my outfit for the day.

I LOVE MY MINNIE EARS!!!! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

My oddities that I pack:

1. Leatherman multipurpose tool (Opens anything)
2. Strap Wrench (Opens jars, weird sized nuts)

Traveled for years, and got tired of either no water pressure, or clogged shower pipe, leaking pipe etc. So I pack my own fix it kit. Those 2 items will help you clean traps and adjust the shower temperature if the previous occupant turned the temperature way down.

Also:
1. Anything you use daily (Gum, toothpicks, cigarettes, etc). All are difficult to find on property, and expensive to boot if you do. I take the number of days I stay and times that by 2, then by the amount I use. I may come home with extra, but guaranteed I have plenty for my trip.

i feel like i now know you too much...:animwink: are we related?

Great things on this thread I have "picked up" on, thanks to all! Of all the things...I-Pod station, sunscreen, pillows, own blankets, glow sticks and glow wands, I.D. braclet for DD, cameras, pixie dust, lanyards and pins...I will obtain 3 golf folding "chairs" that are kinda walking sticks that we will use during night parades to sit on so we will not have to sit on curbs or grass...I am sure something was left out...LOL

i went to amazon and ordered frogg toggs chilly pads after reading this the other day. btw- ALL the reviews for this thing are great!
there were several different vendors on amazon that sold them- amazon didn't directly- bummer- no free shipping. anyway, for the same item, and i checked carefully, ran anywhere from 10 bucks to 23 bucks depending which vendor you went with. since i got one for each of the seven of us that are going in august, that adds up- i went with the cheapest guy even though he had fewer colors to chose from. price trumps style- again!
