Top 10 WDW Guest Failures

Here's my #1: guests who decide to insert themselves into the "show". The most common and famous example is the people who talk over the Ghost Host. The worst I've seen, though, was at ToT. A guy in his late teens or early twenties with a couple of buddies, joking around in the queue. Situation: normal. Once the ride started, however, he starts making all these loud, inappropriate jokes and talking over the show. In the middle of his spiel, he says "I sure hope there are aren't any little kids on this ride!" Yeah, there was a little girl... you stood right next to her in the loading area, you @!#$&*!:fork::fork::fork: Your friends were talking to her and her dad. It was her first time.

EDIT: I almost forgot the cherry on top: my wife and brother-in-law thought it was funny! :hammer:

Ever had the "I can't believe the question I am asking" moment even as the words are leaving your lips? If you haven't yet, one day you probably will if you live long enough and keep coming back!"

I've definitely had that moment! Not yet at WDW, but constantly in "real life." Ain't it grand? :ROFLOL:

High school groups. Just in general.

You're not cool, and playing a certain game which involves yelling male anatomy louder than each other is SO not okay during th pre-show at Test-Track, especially when there are 10 kids by you and I've been waiting 2 hours because the ride kept breaking down. Break you neck is more like it...

Also when they think they're so cool to cut in line. Nope, saw that.

Or how about when they make fun of everything? If it's so dumb and childish, WHY ARE YOU HERE?!

Ah but no my favorite is when people older than me think they know more, or think I'm stupid just because they're older. I'm a college student, and study Disney more than my classwork (whoops), just because you are 20 years older does NOT make you instantly better. If you have the experience to back it up, I'm fascinated to learn. If not, I don't care about how your son was star football player and prom king or whatever... and you're just here on business.

I like to be not your typical young adult, and hate being lumped with the air heads out there :brick:

Here's mine....Check out my top answer!

10. People using wheelchairs that you see walking around fine until it is time to load a ride or go to a show then you see them on a wheelchair not knowing how to go forward or backward-just to get on first or sit up front.
9. Criticizing someone else’s comments, typing etc on this site
8. Talking on phone or texting holding up the line
7. Walking “across” walkway blocking others
6. After sitting and saving my place for almost 1.5 hours for a parade, someone pushing through at the time of the parade into my kids to stand in front of them. (not for long….they got me instead):zipit:
5. Running wild kids screaming at resort lobby-bumping into others, parents sitting and “having a relaxing cocktail”
4. Eating at Ohana….Long line waiting….customers done eating and after bill paid…..sitting another 30-40 hour talking while long lines waiting…not very magical…and preventing people from earning their wages—(tips)
3. Screaming kids in Pirates, Spaceship Earth, Haunted House
2. People walking around or standing still looking up and around them looking lost….its called be prepared!~
1. Taking your mother n law w/her boyfriend with you ! (mother n law fine alone but the two of them together are deadly….):hammer:

Homeschoolers are usually more intelligent because they do more work in less amount of time, which leads them into doing karate, music, and other things.

Btw, I'm not cocky, I just forget to use my head every now and then. Cranium Command didn't do a good job at teaching that. :lookaroun

I've been keeping up with this thread primarily for entertainment purposes, not in hopes of picking up anything of major intellectual value. This actually did peak my interest:
"Homeschoolers are usually more intelligent because they do more work in less amount of time, which leads them into doing karate, music, and other things".
I'd like to see some statistics that support your claim that "Homeschoolers are more intelligent".... Than whom, or what? Intelligent, or better educated? You are implying that there is a difference in intellectual ability of people who are home schooled over those who are not. I suggest it's a matter of the parent's ability to teach and the time they have available to devote to teaching.
Next, are they doing more work in less time because they are more intelligent, or because the home schooling curriculum is completed in less time due to fewer pupils and less peripheral subjects. Also this doesn't take into account school supported and sponsored sports activities. By way of example, my daughter, who is 16 and goes to public school has been taking ballet for the past 10 years, the last 4 she has been in the pre-professional program. That's 4 hours a day after school, 5 days a week, and 6 hours on Saturdays unless they are putting on a performance in which case it can be as many as 7 days a week. She's in the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. Not too bad for a kid not being home schooled.
So anyway, we can start a new thread for you to back up your claims and not hijack this one any longer if you like. Just let me know and I'll be glad to participate.

I'd be interested in checking these facts because after dealing with so many kids that are in public school and hearing about their test scores, I have little faith in public schooling.

Wow there are so many of the above I agree with, but what annoyed me on my last trip last sept was:

Watching Fantasmic for the 1st time (my trip before, we had problems seeing it) so really excited - got a good seat, was filming it for treasured memories, why why why did most people start standing up and walking out before it finished!!!:fork: it ruined my filming. LET THE SHOW FINISH BEFORE STANDING IN EVERYONES WAY!!! DISRESPECTFUL.

We had the SAME thing happen! I didn't understand it. The crowd is not that bad to walk out in, and most missed Sorcerer Mickey popping up, which is the BEST part of the show! Couldn't believe after all that waiting to get in that people would walk out and miss the end...

My contention is the claim kids that are home schooled are smarter, not that they are better educated. What kind of an IQ test do you give a child prior to any schooling that determines if they are smarter than others and should be home schooled. Also, while I agree that there's a lot of negative issues with public schools, there's 50 states and a lot of school systems and individual schools within all of those systems. Pretty broad brush to paint the entire US system as being bad and all home schooled kids as being smarter and better.

I hate:

People who walk slow and spread out.

People who literally will run into me because their 60% of the walkway isn't enough for them to walk on.

People who narrate the HM pre-show.

People who takes flash pictures.

People who let their sailor mouthed kids run loose in the parks.

People that think they're going to cut in front of me because I look Mexican and they think I won't say anything.

People that show up 5 minutes before the parade and want to try to either get between me and the rope or they are on my back trying to squeeze me out.

People that are almost breathing down my neck in the queue line.

I think that sums it up.

Are you serious? I hope not because it made me laugh. If you aren't joking, why would they cut in front of you because you look Mexican?

Before you go spending any time on the subject, I'd consider the self-serving nature of the comment, and its source.....

Yeah - Wondersoflife claims to be 13.
I've seen that, and I've never put down someone on a forum because they were young. But when you are young, want to be taken seriously, you need to be careful with your comments because that's what people remember when having conversations and respond accordingly.

That being said, I'm 51 and have been known to act like I'm 13...... :D

The social interaction of attending a school is something that cannot be replaced.

Oh I have a few more...

When people "make bears" in the restrooms and don't close the door.

When people say "Oh watch" or "Here listen this is funny" SHUT UPPPPPPP!!!

When people scream on TTA...really?

When people take a flash picture of the ghost host hanging.
