Tomorrowland Speedway needs a refurb

Over the years I have been on this ride maybe twice and I really enjoy it. But it seems dated. It really needs a refurb and they could easlily incorporate a theme from "Cars" into it. Furthermore, they should somehow figure out a way to use Hybrid cars because the fumes of that place give me a headache every time.:p

No...It needs to be ripped out.:lookaroun

 Yes, it's a classic, but I really don't see how it's unique or Disney. It's also on some prime real estate for either Tomorrowland or Fantasyland.:D

It also smells.:lookaroun

God bless the "Ignore" button.
It's loud, smelly, boring, outdated, bad for the environment, doesn't fit the theme, and takes up a LOT of land.
Demolish it.

I was able to get this picture of the HK Autopia. What is the difference between WDW and the HK other than the landscape? Do the cars run on propane also?

I agree that this is a loud and smelly ride. BUT. . . it is the favorite of both of my boys and high on the list for my daughter. My boys love steering while Mom or Dad pushes the pedal and my Daughter was thrilled to be able to drive her own car last year. So, we put up with it so the kids get that "driving" experience. When they get older, I will be happy to pass it by though!

Cars run on propane, and it's landscaping kicks WDW's butt. If our has to stay around, that's how it should be. Cars does not belong in Tomorrowland, IMO.

Keep the ride. Kids seem to really like it.

What they need to do is upgrade the cars. Maybe go electric.
I thought I heard a while back that they were, in fact, going to upgrade the cars.

It's a ride aimed @ the 7 to 13 age range. I remember the first time I drove a real car on my uncle's lap when I was 10 years old. This is probably the same feeling kids get when they can drive a car on the Tomorrowland Speedway independently from their parents.

If it has a line and is getting business keep it. However I do agree it needs a bit of updating though cause it's no longer futuristic themed if it was really ever was. Make the carts able to levitate and then you've got yourself an improvement. :)

Would you believe I've never been on this!?! I'm sure my son (6) would get a kick out it!

Frankly, I don't care what they do with it! If they got rid of it, eh! If they kept it, eh! But I wouldn't want them to get rid of it and NOT replace it with anything else. Attractions are good things at this point - even if they are old and outdated!
