I'll tell you a basic truth of Disney Parks and that's if you please most of the diehard fans, you're going to also wind up pleasing most of your visitor base.

That statement I do agree with 100%.

How about a waste of $$$ and a missed opportunity?

I don't think it's either. I'm looking forward to checking it out in 2 weeks-I appreciate very good theming, effects and state of the art audio-animatronics-and I'm not an elementary school girl. No, I'm really not. Really.

(And even though I vehemently disagree with practically every post you've ever written-except for the one above, and there was another about 3 years ago, on a Tuesday I believe, that was okay-anyway, it's all in good fun. If I ever were to be introduced to you, say wandering around World Showcase someday, I'd still say "Nice to meet ya, ya old **. Let me buy you a tequila or three at La Cava." :))

**For those unfamiliar with '74's posts, this word is a term of endearment and not derogatory or profane in any way.

Gotta hand it to you Uni fanbois. Being a fan of the Pittsburgh pirates of theme parks and still relentless. I thank god Disney standards for a major renaissance isn't a cloned simulator based on a god awful Michael bay trilogy.

Have a SIMULATor day!!!

Where is this Transformers simulator attraction? Anyone? I know of a Transformers 3D dark ride though...

Just watched Despicable Me, which I had DVR'd. Wow. What an absolute piece of crap. I knew universal was desperate for IPs to use for attractions, but I had no idea this desperate.

Sorry you didn't like it, you are definitly in the minority with that opinion. It may not be everyone's favorite movie but it was quite well recieved. 7.6 rating on IMDB, 81% rating on Rotten Tomattoes by both critics and audiance.

Talk to Lee about that. ... Oh, and it helps if you're a young male that is attractive!
Dude...that could be taken wrong in multiple ways.

Disclaimer: I am not involved in any way with either the procuring of jobs or with anything involving attractive young males.

IP out of the equation, people will go where the best rides are.

Like Cedar Point, right? Even King's Island has a few great rides (The Beast is still the best wood out there other than morning, IMO) Simply put, I agree with a lot of what "JustinTime" has said. I have been able to go to WDW 4 times. First back in 1997 with my wife, then in 2004 with my wife and kids, again in 2007 with my wife and kids, and finally in 2011 with my wife and kids. This last time we went in June and also made a day trip to see WWOHP. The ride was super and the themeing great. Still, other than Potter, I was not overly impressed. We had a better time at the Disney Parks. This was with two teenagers. Maybe the jet stream is causing some pixie dust to be blown up into the Ohio Valley, but, given the choise between the two, I'll go with the Mouse and the Disney IP.

Not knocking Cedar Point. We have King's Island Passes and I believe their attendance is on par if not better than the 'Point'. Bingo, by the way with the 'to each his own' comment, this is a fan site after all, isn't it??
