It just played on the ABC affiliate here in the Twin Cities.... No video, just saying that Tigger struck a young boy. Then mentioned his 2004 incident. Total B.S. Not even a video or any context.... man journalism is the worst its ever been.

I don't know if it was said yet, but all the news networks are running that the man in the costume said that the boy was pulling on his mask making it hard for him to breathe.

I think we need to here from Tigger what happened. If you look at the video Tigger is holding this kids one arm and it looks more like a defense push away than a hit.
My son is very well behaiived and if he was "hit" by Tigger my first reaction would not be what did my son do like this Dad did.

I'm so tired of repeating myself... This thread is WAY too long.

As a CM, we are not allowed to speak to the media involving any kind of incident while on the clock. We are under contractual agreement, which, if broken, could lead to termination and a suit. Tigger won't be speaking out at all. Even a "no comment" would be grounds for dismissal. It's only legal if it is in a court of law, which I doubt will ever happen.

Seriously. I've said it all already. I'm going to bed. This is too tedious. Have a nice dicusssion, guys. You've amused me, really. But I'm done.

For his sake, I hope all of this gets cleaned up. He's too good for this.

By the way, for all you future CPs. When you're in your interview and tell them you want to audition for a character... tell them the reason is to avenge Tigger. I can see it now, a band of misfit characters walking down Mainstreet with makeshift weapons, beating up every sleeveless, single-gloved showoff in the park... it would be beautiful.

Of course the kid is going to say he didn't do anything. What kid would admit to messing with a character to his parents. Especially a parent who is causing a HUGE scene. The kid pulled a bonehead move and now the parents are going nuts. I just hope that Disney really checks this video out and the CM isn't fired. We just got back from a trip and I was apalled at the behavior I witnessed concerning pre-teens/teens and characters. Kids are real brats now a days, and the parents are oblivious. I am sorry, but it is true. Before ya'll rake me over the coals I am a parent, not a single, non parent visitor.

I said earlier, way earlier, in this thread, that the kid was doing something stupid to Tigger, for laughs or whatever and he got caught. His overbearing dad couldn't let it go and the kid is stuck with this stupid story about getting punched by Tigger. Why would a CM punch a kid while the parents are videotaping???? ? No way Tigger did this on purpose, the kid:fork: was way out of line. Probably got the "over reacting, I'm a PUNK gene" from dear 'ole dad. The apple never falls far from the tree.

Me too. Goodnight, and thanks for all the insider (CM) information. Only one, but an important one, of the reasons I like this site sooooo much.
