To be fair, this is a substantial increase from Splash’s normal wait during Halloween parties.
I'd partly chock that up to the fact Tiana's is still new and the standby line isn't available during the normal day, it's just lighting lane and boarding groups. If I couldn't get a boarding group and was at the Halloween party I'd wait in line for Tiana's.

Now that the dust has settled and we have had time to process this disaster, we should begin to put its place in the portfolio in perspective.

Considering the attraction's embarrassing, juvenile storyline, gaps of sad nothingness, cringeworthy dialogue, absence of any conflict, and lack of emotional engagement, is this Disney's worst E-Ticket attraction in the world?

What E-ticket ride in the global Disney portfolio, of this scale, is actually worse than this when we are not grading on a curve of pity?
IMO yes it is pretty much the worst! It’s also insulting because they insisted they “knew they had to get it right” with this one, and here we are. Show quality is mediocre and ride is barely working, not making it through even one full day it seems.

This is why I have no confidence in the future additions. Will they be more phoned in, poor quality attractions?

To be fair - no.

Thrill Data shows the wait was usually 30 mins at the start, maybe leveling off to 25-20 mins as the night went on.

Off the top of my head, I'd rank Tiana's ahead of Frozen, Ratatouille, Runaway Railway, and maybe Slinky. It's not a knock-out, but those rides feel way less inspired to me.

I consider the reliability problems separately from the ride. I think Rise is the greatest thing they've ever done, but only when it's actually working. Tiana's isn't anywhere near as good as Rise so when it doesn't work it's even more embarrassing for Disney.

It's funny how people were coming up with ideas to make the rest of Frontierland more like New Orleans Square to accommodate Tiana, and Disney decided to go with something even more unrelated with Cars.
What are you talking about? All they have to do is glue giant googly eyes to her delivery truck and give her yet another occupation as a racecar driver and it'll fit perfectly! 🤣

I mean Pecos Bills is an easy switch but they were like “nah.” Says a lot.

This is very surprising to me, but I guess I’m speaking for 2018-19. I used to work a ton of the Halloween party shifts at the Splash exit, and the line was *always* super dead. I think we were the least busy treats area too.

Rose it twice tonight for the first time. My thoughts…
Negatives: boring queue especially salt mines, screen firefly overkill, no one can easily follow what’s going on, rainforest cafe frog, AAs mouths don’t move, seemed to stop at every hill

Positives: pretty scenery, critter bands are adorable, great soundtrack, great finale scene, lights going up main hill

It feels like a good first draft rather than the finished product.

Oh, I finally went on this. It was fine. It would be a cute little thing on its own. As a replacement for Splash it underwhelms. But it absolutely is better in person, especially since the nostalgic smell of Splash remains. It just doesn’t have the same impact, especially with the drops and the story.

So by “fine” do you mean it’s still a fun log/ water ride with drops and dark ride show scenes? Or do you mean that some of the show scenes worked better than expected? Trying to understand if most of the the “fine” is due to what didn’t change - the ride system and layout or were there things that pleasantly surprised you?
