I still get so annoyed with advanced AA terminology. Yeti was the same and look at him now. If you can’t keep it working it’s no point in the end!
I think that was more the weight, right? It was cracking the foundation or something?I still get so annoyed with advanced AA terminology. Yeti was the same and look at him now. If you can’t keep it working it’s no point in the end!
You got bored on a 12 minute ride with 4 drops and 68 audio animatronic figures? Maybe the whole theme park thing isn’t for you.Moved faster with better pacing. I got a little bored in WDW's version, hence why they had Laughin Place start halfway through the first area. I did like the openness of WDW's sets, but that is about all I would say is superior to DL's.
The AAs weren't very engaging conversationalists. You got bored on a 12 minute ride with 4 drops and 68 audio animatronic figures? Maybe the whole theme park thing isn’t for you.
It just doesn't have the same pacing and storytelling as the version I grew up with. Disneyland's is zippy, has better music, and more to see in a tighter ride-time. WDW's version is hampered by the wide boats. It makes it feel like a cheap POTC rather than the unique ride that is DL's.You got bored on a 12 minute ride with 4 drops and 68 audio animatronic figures? Probably a statue of Louis, and then when you first see him he'll explain why he was standing so still a minute ago when you saw him in the garden.View attachment 777246Yes, it is louis
Not to get too far in the weeds, but the Yeti and these new figures have next to nothing in common.I still get so annoyed with advanced AA terminology. Yeti was the same and look at him now. If you can’t keep it working it’s no point in the end!
I understand they have next to nothing in common physically. But they share a lot in common with early hype. Not to get too far in the weeds, but the Yeti and these new figures have next to nothing in common.
Further, most of the yeti's movement (both the rise and lunge) come from the articulated sled behind him... not the figure itself. I believe this motion was achieved hydraulically as well, not via electric motors like much of the new designs.

Undoubtedly it’s because he saw a t-Rex behind our logProbably a statue of Louis, and then when you first see him he'll explain why he was standing so still a minute ago when you saw him in the garden.
So when is it going to open then? If it even has been delayed? No idea why it wasn’t announced this week, but I have yet to hear it is delayed beyond the first half of June. I was trying to get someone to tell me if an AA went

but I’m told all is well.
I don’t believe it has been delayed. Been hearing a June opening for a bit now.So when is it going to open then? If it even has been delayed?
I think on paper WDW’s is superior. It’s longer, more polished, better sets, better story, everything is physically larger, etc. However, I think DL has some unique charm that was never replicated because it was the prototype that was a little rougher around the edges. That’s why the DL version has more of a cult following and people prefer it just out of personal taste. I dare say that people liked it BECAUSE it wasn’t as conventionally ‘good’ as WDWIt just doesn't have the same pacing and storytelling as the version I grew up with. Remember when people wondered if it was even gonna open in 2024?I don’t believe it has been delayed. Been hearing a June opening for a bit now.
The Sign Says "Tiana's Something"View attachment 777245
Something I noticed in a new Arieal Image, a sign is placed over the flume after the first lift hill, and I can't tell but it looks as if Louis is rummaging through the garden?
It says Tiana’s Tacos. She’s diversifying to ride out the Depression. We can stop wondering what came of Brer Chicken. She pairs well with the tomatillo harvested by Slippin’ Falls. The Sign Says "Tiana's Something"
maybe foods or garden who knows
That sums up lots of WDW vs. DL. Disneyland is almost always more charming than WDW.I think on paper WDW’s is superior.
