Don't forget, the Maroon 5 guy wrote several new songs that were cut, and I can only imagine how great those were. Since they couldn't just shift the storyline to include the songs from the movie, they had to just include the songs from the movie without it making any sense.

I had no idea Adam Levine wrote songs for the ride. Interesting. I mean I always thought that the movie has such strong music/ songs that they needed to be showcased on the ride but of course it all needs to be executed properly (its not - written out nicely by Brer Oswald above) and I'm not thrilled my two favorite songs from the movie got cut.

Rays Berets? Since when was this a thing? I asked Google "Do people wear berets in Louisiana?". The AI said this-

It doesn't look like there's much info about whether people wear berets in Louisiana, but here's some related information about berets:

Popularity
Berets are associated with France and Spain, where they were common headwear before mass production began in the 19th century. They remain a trendy accessory today.

Symbolism
The beret has been worn by many famous artists and intellectuals, including Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Che Guevara. It has also been used as a symbol of resistance and revolution.

Maybe the salt dome miners were french?
Well. Creole culture is French. It's a fun rhymed name for a shop. Find anything else in the world to be annoyed about.

I'm a bit annoyed with the way they are running Magic Key previews. They are doing it through virtual queue day of, but also, only running it for previews between 6-9 hours a day. If I get up at 7 am and don't get a virtual line reservation, then I have no reason to go to the parks. But since it's day of, I can't cancel my park reservation, I get a no show strike against me. I don't want to have to drive over an hour to go to the park when I know I can't even ride the ride that was the only reason I made the reservation in the first place, or get penalized for not going. I wish they at least did the vq reservations a day before or something. I mean, it makes sense that they want to force keyholders to go to the park to spend money, but it makes this keyholder perk seem more like a punishment. Especially given that probably less than a quarter of the keyholders with reservations into the park will actually get to ride the ride, assuming it doesn't break down.

I hadn’t considered this possibility. Maybe I’ll skip the MK preview then lol; I already have a couple no-shows, and I don’t want to visit the park that day if I’m not having a bayou adventure.

This is why I’m glad they did the previews on a day where we already had a reservation. Weekend days for Enchant passes at the end of the year are slim pickings so we’ve had the day booked for a while.

Yeah, that makes sense for you, then. As much as I want to experience the trainwreck for myself and rip off the band-aid as soon as possible, I might just wait a bit and try to hit TBA on my next (early December) planned visit.

Not Adam Levine, PJ Morton. Same guy that wrote the AI-generated finale song.
Like it or not, it's not AI... why would you think it is? I don't like the theme song of The Office, but that doesn't make it AI. Would you mind explaining why you think so?

I know it's not AI. That was intended to be an insult to the song. The lyrics are cringeworthy in my opinion. And they DO sound like something AI would write. I've had AI write lyrics and that's what they sound like.
