i was a little disappointed with la creperie when we went there last fall. although tasty, the crepe fillings were stone cold in the middle. we both had the poulet crepe & they only charged us for 1 instead of 2 as a result.

Found this recipe in a magazine but had to doctor it up with more lemon, parmesan, red pepper flakes, pepper and some other spices. It turned out ok but I may not make it again.

That's nice. We used to kick back some ice cold beers to celebrate a project finished etc but this spread is sweet!

This was an office Christmas party.
I don’t recall too many office celebrations when big projects were complete, but many times builders would have something afterwards that involved food and adult beverages.
We used to have site visits to projects during different phases of construction, and food was provided by the firm back at the office after the visit, or by the builder on-site.
We had an annual Halloween costume contest and party. First prize was $150 cash, second was $100 and third was $50.
Valentine’s Day was usually celebrated with sweets of some sort and mimosas.
Anytime someone was promoted, got their architectural license or a valued employee was leaving the firm there was a happy hour at a local place.
There were birthday celebrations, anniversary celebrations, etc., and the list goes on.
There were a lot of perks at that firm that involved food and drink…!!!
