You and I have at least two Disney finisher medals in common. I even have a photo very similar to your avatar photo! :lol:
That 10 mile run is going to be a lot of fun for the people who do it! I'm wanting to sign up so bad, but have a lot of other stuff going on in the fall. It is going to be a decision on the eve of the race selling out, I suspect.

I've run a total of 4 Run Disney events (in 2 years) but have 5 medal thanks to my Coast to Coast medal
. I would love to do more but the cost of the events gets a little crazy.

Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm on Sunday so I'm guessing (hopefully) they will have a party! That's what we're planning on anyways!

Looking at the park schedule, both Friday and Sunday have no evening parade or fireworks listed. I'm leaving the schedule open, hoping I can go to MNSSHP on one of those days.

My wife and I officially registered today.
Maybe we can get a few people together for a pic with all of our medals. Even if we don't hang out for a long time, It'd be nice to meet some of you in person, and expand our little family here on the running sub-board
I would love that! I know we tried to do this the first year of the Wine & Dine but it just didn't happen.
We'll have to set up a subforum as the race get closer.

It also closes at 7:00PM the Friday night before the race as well.

I would like a meet up. Maybe I can register tomorrow, I'm running a 10k. This will be the time I submit for corral placement. I have a half marathon time from June 2011, but Disney is requesting at time after July 2011.

People must be registering before the price increase, 51% full. This race may be a sell out!

No doubt this will sell out.
The only thing I can see holding it back is that it is so close to the Wine & Dine 1/2 marathon and some people may want to put there registration/travel fees to that.
But since this a 10 miler, you may see a lot more 1st time runners that may be intimidated by running a 1/2 marathon.

I know that's why I'm running... building myself up so I can do the Princess 1/2 next year.
And finally registered, that 51% kinda kicked my butt in gear.
Maybe afterwards during the bash? That way we all have our medals on?

OK guys. I ran the inaugural W&D and if my leg heals up and capacity hasnt been reached, Im running this too.
This wdwmagic member will be down again for Epcot's 30th like I was for its 25th. If I arrive on Saturday morning, it works out perfect.
PLEASE leg heal and PLEASE dont reach capacity. It has been at 51% for at least a week. Hold on 2 more week!
This year, unlike the W&D, If I run, we will all have to come up with a meeting spot afterwards.
