My sister, cousin and myself planned to run the W&D that weekend... We will still plan on doing this one and personally, it's a little shorter, so I'll take it!!!

With it being a night race, do you think they will do packet/bib pick-up the morning of the 29th? We're scheduled to get off our cruise that morning so if I was to do the race I wouldn't be able to pick mine up any sooner.

The site says between 10am and 4pm on race day! Which is good, because I won't be getting to WDW until late at night on the 28th lol. :D

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 10-Miler Event Transportation has been arranged for those staying at select Event Host Resorts. Buses will be indicated by event transportation signs placed in the front windows and will run every 20 minutes from Walt Disney World® Resorts to the following events:

Disney's Health & Fitness Expo

Friday, September 28: 11:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, September 29: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Completely agree. I was thinking my husband and I could do the 5K if he wasn't ready for the 10-miler, but I'm disappointed in the description of the course. After crunching some numbers and looking at flights I don't think this race is going to work out for us this year anyway...:shrug:

That makes me sad :( I was so looking forward to meeting you in Sept!! Guess I'll just have to wait for next January, huh?

I do like how adding the 3.1 miles to make it into a half apparently adds about $50 to the cost of the event. Either that or they think this may be a harder sell than the other races so they are pricing it less.
