I've been to country clubs and large public restaurants in smaller midwest cities that make that new Club 33 dining area look like a McMansion dining room turned diner. Holy crap that is ugly.

Where you can really see the "value-engineering" is when you notice closely the drapery. The old drapery was elegant...the new? You can buy those at Wally World.

I would at least hope this was taken before re-opening and they will at least have table cloths and a curtain on the giant window. I heard the Trophy Room was ripped out as well. I have fond memories of two visits many years ago. This is sad.

Those pictures of New Orleans Square/Club 33 shows how the little things made Disney, you know, DISNEY. Remove those little things, and Disney is just another theme park/amusement park. They don't separate themselves from the pack anymore.

Why would they cheap out on a renovation when the cost of a Club 33 membership would easily pay for the renovation

I got the plans last year. Knew this wasn't going to go over well at all. Especially the takeover of the Court of Angels.
