I know its been rehused forever.. but seriously.. .
is that thing made of adamatium? eternium or other strange once in a millennium material that would make Tony Stark jealous?

not to mention that despite their advancement (of the new AA) the original goofy designs clash way too much with the super realistic AA of Johnny depp.

I disagree. There's certain things that AA's can't do. The scene where Jack Sparrow is jumping around and avoiding Davy Jones just can't be done with AA's effectively.

At Universal, the whole Transformers attraction couldn't be done with AA's, they would just be too massive and complex and we've seen what massive & complex does to reliability *cough*Yeti*cough*

This new POTC ride seems to combine the best of both and we should be glad that it features both so well.

And I am sure the lighting levels in person are much lower than the video making the screens blend more seamlessly with the physical sets... This ride is amazing. I would gladly give up our Pirates Cliff Notes Version in favor of gutting that whole area of Adventureland and putting in this version of Pirates with restaurant, pirates village and all...Let Disneyland and Disneyland Paris have the original and upgraded original versions.. and let the Magic Kingdom have something new and amazing for the 50th Anniversary!!

Likewise with Peter Pan... they should build a whole bew version of the ride...larger longer and double tracked and a new Neverland area where the circus tents currently are...then you could have your pixie hollow meet and greets along with a big splashy new original Peter Pan ride and a Pirate ship water play area...it could be amazing....and more fitting than circus tents...Just sayin'

Trouble is at the rate Disney builds in the US that project would take a decade or more...
