We looked at different places that serve Dole Whip and weren't entirely sure if Captain Cooks' served it or not [AllEars' menu doesn't indicate that they do]. We chose Aloha Isle because we're pretty sure everybody knows where it is and it's in a park. DS12 and I will already have been in MK since open that morning.

They do indeed have it at Captain Cook's - and it's self serve so you can get as much as you want in the little cup. Great for taking out on the beach to watch the fireworks.

I did that in October. Epcot was the next day (and our only park of the trip), and we weren't even staying on Disney property, but that didn't stop us from driving to the Poly. :lol:

So Orlando area folks could attend the meet and have plenty of time to get home for the pre-event babble that seems to always come before events... And non-locals would have time to find a good seat at a suitable watering hole.
