Bah! Why all the hate for BatB? That movie is GREAT!!!!! No one stomps around wearing big boots like Gaston!!!

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a SB DR though..... Maleficent is my favorite eBil Witch.

Lol I guess I don't HATE it, the animation is beautiful, but I feel like there's BatB stuff everywhere. SB isn't ANYWHERE to be found in the park. Maleficent is the best villian of all time and (IMO) Aurora is the most beautiful of all the princesses. I just want some SB love, sorry to turnb that into BatB hate LOL.

Are you including the Plaza? I would agree though. MK needs more TS.
I forgot about the Plaza, but still a rip roaring 5 TS restaurants in the most popular theme park in the world is a bit on the low side IMHO especially considering the popularity of the DDP.

Will Poohs play ground finally see it's demise?
Why should it? Just because you don't like it? Is is quite popular among little kids which just happen to be FL target audience. Same goes for Dumbo and other spoke and hub attractions like it. They have lines at them all day long and will never go away nor should they. In the same vain should we git rid of Cinderella's carousel as well?

I agree.. My 3 girls love the pooh playground.. Sorry if you don't appreciate it once you are a 12+ years old, until you have kids of your own, but it's a valuable asset in our visits... As is the honey I shrunk the audience playground..

There is NOTHING wrong with a playground being there.. Heck, I wish they had left the Flower and Garden 'large' playground after the festival ended..

There's nothing wrong with a playground being there. There is something wrong with the beautiful lagoon being removed and the only thing filling its spot as that playground. Hopefully that is in the process of being rectified.

Does anyone know if or when the OP is going to back any if this up like they said they would?
one of four things could have happended.

  1. OP is full of himself and doesn't have the plans.
  2. Steve has asked him not to post the information as those plans being leaked could make Disney and/or company involved quite mad.
  3. OP is busy and hasn't returned.
  4. Can't figure out how to upload the pics

IMO what fantasyland needs is more dark rides and more, well, fantasy...Toon Town is a whole area of "play space" for the kids, it seems clear that the powers that be are not motivated to put money into what people visit the park for, mainly the rides and attractions.

I think Fantasyland NEEDS a darkride of Pinnochio and Alice to be a comlete Fantasyland.

If I had a dream list it would be those 2 rides, and TLM. A sit-down restaurant done in the German beer hall style. A place with turkey legs (I don't eat them but it seems apropo), and enchanted forest that leads to Toontown.

For what it's worth, this one's a creative fan's ideas. There are plans being pushed ahead for a re-do of Fantasyland as we've done with Tomorrowland in the past, but the list in this thread are just fun guesses.
