I might have to give you that one. Perhaps that is the initial show set for a stage of some sort in the area?

Also, I would venture to say that most guest know her as Sleeping Beauty, not Aurora.

It could be a pretty cool show though. Imagine if everyone made very eleborate plans for a surprise part and they sneak into her bedroom and jump out, yell, "Surprise!" and...nothing happens because she is a heavy sleeper and the show ends. One word...awesome...

I guess we won't know though until we have the plans and can see where everything fits.

For me a real bookstore with Disney books would more than make up for a Sleeping Beauty show.
Agreed. A bookstore in the MK would be a welcome addition.

I bet it'll turn into a pin shop in 5 years.

Seriously, if the list is right, I'm hopeful. Everything seems to mesh with the Enchanted Forest/TLM additions that has been speculated about.

:ROFLOL:The grand irony would be if they sold pins about books...

You know the book store will sell Hannah Montana and High School Musical merchandise mostly.
Yeah, I'm realistic enough to know it won't be a huge store stocked with shelf after shelf of Disney War and Walt Disney biographies. If we can just get one section of serious WDW and TWDC books I'll be happy.

Wow, really? Eleven new additions to MK, at least two of which the OP stated were attractions and you are disappointed?

I know there is going to be a few of the standard responses:

Source, blah blah blah...

Press release and moving dirt blah blah blah...

They should have done this years ago blah blah blah...

The budget will be slashed blah blah blah...

There is a new sheriff blah blah blah...

Lame Stitch joke blah blah blah...

Some variation of TDO likes to burn kittens and punch guest in the face...

However, 11 additions of any type (with the exception maybe ODF carts) is pretty significant and probably welcome at this point. This is, of course, assuming that what the OP is reporting is true. Hopefully it is!

I guess it's just not exactly what I was imagining when everyone was hoping this would beef up the ride situation in FL. WDW has plenty of gift shops and restaurants as is. I'm VERY glad that they are going to expand it no matter what they do, but having heard some of the other rumors in the other thread, this just seems... :veryconfu I guess my biggest question is if people aren't spending money in the parks the way I've heard some people post, what is the sense in adding restaurants and gift shops? Yea, it's going to hook some people regardless but, isn't Main St. enough? I dunno, I guess nothing's concrete yet so we'll see what they've got cooking. :)

Also I'm not trying to pretend that I know what I'm talking about because I have no connections whatsoever. Just an extremely obsessed visitor of WDW. :animwink:

Same here I for one was wishing fir more than one ride. A nice C or D to compliment TLM.

This is some interesting news, sounds like theres only one ride and something like KP in WS that is Scuttles Scavenger Hunt, and a bunch of shops and stores. I would like to see the plans.

I'm having my doubts...I really would like to see the plans the OP Obtained though...

Are they in a R2 Unit?:lookaroun:lol:

Anyway, the word, that I heard mentioned none of this...and there were fewer shops, and more rides. Kinda what we have in the other FL Thread.

Shops I'll give you but MK could really uses some new dining options especially table service ones. There are only 4 TS restaurants in MK one is next to impossible to get into, two are fair at best. The only real shining star IMHO is CP. By comparison AK has 3, DHS has 5 and Epcot is sporting 13 (or more depending on how you count it.)

All praise EPCOT Explorer! :sohappy:

I hope you're correct on this one. I don't mind seeing themed restaurants in lands but the whole idea behind this expansion (at least I thought) was to try and get line queues down for some of the other E-tickets. And I don't think just TLM is going to do that. They need at LEAST 2 C or D tickets. Or to go along with the R2 joke... E2-D2 :lookaroun:lol:

Personally, I think this list is reminiscent of DLRP more than WDW.
And I would like to see more rides than shops as well. Just something more to bring over there.
I hardly go to Fantasyland anymore thanks to overcrowding.
And if there's one attraction I would like to see, it would have to be something Pinocchio related.
In fact, we're the only park to not have a Pinocchio attraction! Well, and HKDL as well.

Oh how I hope that this is true, but my question is when are they supposed to get started on this? Does the OP know that?:veryconfu

I'm personally calling bunk on this one. Doesn't really match up with what I've heard. But, I could be wrong.
Right. Maybe this is a different part of the expansion?

Right. I'm hoping for some more darkrides, though.

I would love more dark rides. Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland is extremely cool, but they wouldn't be able to make it go outside in FL because of all the rain, unless they want to close it when it rains. Funny how they squeezed them in at Disneyland, Alice is built on top of Mister Toad. If they can pack them in at DL, there is no reason why they can't add several during this expansion.

The thing that shocks me about the FL expansion us that everytime I'd bring up FL expanding into Toon Town 90% of people on the boards said that TT needs to stay. Where did all the TT supporters go?

Agreed. They can use the Tomorrowland Speedway plot for that...:lookaroun:lol:

TTF is horrible compared to TT in Disneyland. I've never stepped foot in TTF in the last 6 or 7 trips to Disney World.

EDIT: I take it back, I've entered TTF through the Train Station to use the walkway to TL.
