The New Fantasyland

For example, most people would NEVER know that if the screen for Philharmagic and the Hall of Presidents were removed, you'd have two crowds of guests sitting down looking at each other. That's because the two entrances are well separated. Hopefully this castle wall is able to achieve that (I do realize that this is something that most people aren't annoyed by :) )
OH WOW!! I never realized that, but yea. WOW

Wouldnt it be great if the mermaid facade looked like the one tony baxter showed on the mermaid dvd?

I kinda dont like DCA's mermaid facade for here, it just doesnt seem like it would fit, but who knows what they have planned. It would just be nice if it has more a sea/rock look .

You have really good eyes, I zoomed in and can't even read that, but once you mention it... it does look like "Relocated Food Carts".

What does it say on the building southwest of Dumbo A near the LMR building?

That's the location of the DVC Kiosk.
And, inclusion of a DVC Kiosk proves these drawings are genuine.

If the plan is true than part of the Castle wall section would be right near Mrs. Potts, effectively splitting the rides. Also if the wall has arches over the walkways, then the facade over both rides would need to be redone...

Yes I believe this is the case. Enclosed rethemed queues, and the Castle walls to be fully themed with arches, plantings, fountains etc. :)

I wonder what the entrance to Winnie the Pooh ride is going to look like since it's beyond the Castle Wall which I'm assuming would divide the main FL with the expansion. Maybe more toward DL's where it looks like you go into the side of a hill?

Of Course ! But As I am NOT from WDW, I do not recognize exactly the places on the plans.

However I can give you the names of the attractions on the various plans I have :

-Cinderella's Chateau
-Triton's Treasure
-Ariel's Undersea Adventure
-Ariel's Meet & Greet
-Gaston's Village
-Lefou's Creperie
-Scuttles Scavenger Hunt
-The Village Book Shop
-Be Our Guest Restaurant
-Enchanted Tales with Belle
-Enchanted Mirror Room
-Sleeping Beauty's Birthday Surprise

For what I might have understood, there is a big demoition place, including all that is behind mickye's house starting from Dumbo (which seems to be moved and get another identical Dumbo (????) )

PS: is there a way to upload files on this forum ?
Sounds awesome.:sohappy:

For those wondering, it'll take 2 years to build Mermaid at DCA, if Disney started in October of this year, they could be done by October 2011.

Two years will sound about right, so in your scenario, 2011 would be a good target date, and HAPPY 40TH!!!!

However, how do we know that they aren't mass producing ride track, show scenary, ride vehicles, building facade, and AAs for this ride? Then, all they really need to do is construct the building. Everything else is already ready to go so no waitng for this stuff. They MAY, and I stress may, be able to do the ride in WDW in a year.

My feeling is these Fantasyland plans will take about 5 years in total to complete.

I don't know how I feel about Dumbo. I'm sure it has it's nostalgic value, but is it really needed?

In Disneyland' Dumbo moved in the 1983 Fantasyland refurb so it's not that big of a deal.

As I mentioned earlier, I think this attraction is much more than a spinner. And it definitely is a popular theme for a spinner style attraction. Just look at the size of the queue, they are expecting crowds it appears. So there must be something extra about this concept.

I just remembered that another post said they were going to or have started taking down the Fantasyland Skyway station. Is this true? If, so maybe the process has begun...

pooh should be rethemed at the entrance to look like the 100 acre forest and the dwarves should be rethemed to look like the entrance to a mine in a hill side.

The rumor is they are taking down or repurposing the Tomorrowland Skyway station, I think. It's part of the SM/TTA refurb happening now.

Actually what I was referring to was south of there, just south of the Merch location, immediately across from Gaston's Tavern. Looks like "Relocated Hood"...something....

I think it reads "Relocated Food Carts".

I think we've got a winner here. I can only assume this will be selling dairy products for the Cheese Coaster. Some thoughts on the theming, they can repurposes the triangles from Spaceship Earth, paint them yellow and line the Barnstormer track and voila! you have a figment of imagi... I mean, Cheese Coaster.

Oh i hope this are true, and i will be glad tyo see the end of toontown, i haven't stepped in there in years. My main question is tho is Be our Guest gonna be another quick service or are they finally gonna add another much needed table service to MK.

It appears to be a table service with a possible BatB inspired show inside a new castle.
