The New Fantasyland

Honestly, the Castle Wall looks to be the most interesting. Maybe there will be a second land?:shrug: Fantasyland East?:lol::lookaroun

As for the themein...I'm thinking it will look like the Castle itself. Maybe attached to it?
I like the idea of an auxiliary castle wall. I'm guessing this castle wall will provide an entrance to a dramatic sort of woodsy, enchanted forest area in which the Cinderella house will be situated.

Looking at these, I'm definitely getting a DLP Fantasyland feel. Which would be unbelieveable.

One thing I liked about their fantasyland is that you really felt "inside the castle fortress", because they make it pretty obvious. It looks to me like they're thinking about doing the same thing here.

Also... The way this is laid out would have minimal impact on the existing FL during construction, which is a plus.

MAN, I hope this isn't one of those things that 5 years from now we're talking about like we do right now with Beastly Kingdom. Disney, PLEASE build this thing. And do it RIGHT... Don't cut it all to heck.

Bad thoughts! Bad thoughts!:fork::lol:

The other thread says it's ready to go.:shrug: I certainly hope it is. It would be fantastic.

This Enchanted Forest expansion sounds promising. Toontown was more of a space filler in my opinion so it will be nice for something hopefully more important and permanent.

Here is a question though, if Enchanted forest will take over toontown how will this affect the Magic Kingdom railway? I'm sure it will involve a new station but what about the land itself? Will Disney just put up a bunch of boards?

Absolutely, I think that for Magic Kingdom in the Year 2010, this is a proper direction to be going in. Fantasyland is famous for approaching the spaciousness of a sardine can on the more crowded days of the year, and this plan would seemingly obliterate that problem. From a planning perspective, the relocated, expanded Dumbo site atop the former fairgrounds should provide a very nice, comfortable traffic flow. I use the word "mildly" because, you know, I believe the best construction projects at MK involve the additions of new mountains or similarly compelling E-tickets. But for this park, at this time, this fits the bill.

I'm all for the "compelling E-Ticket" budget being directed towards Epcot, DHS and AK. Just another reason why I love this plan. MK is being primarily designed around families with pre-teens and I think that is a wise choice. While the other parks are more versatile in their offerings including thrill rides. Great strategy.

Exactly, there will be a forest and I think you are right it will be like a FL east. Makes me think too that LM will have a different place setting than the DHS version. Denmark?

Toon Town will be gone. The train station is staying exactly where it is now just being renamed to the Fantasyland Train Station

Perhaps. I wonder if FL will be the old version and TLM....Maybe a new land with the TT Part?

Seems to be plotted within the "Dumbo" mini-land. Pretty good idea. Very nice. Considering that much of the movie Dumbo takes place on a train!
