If you don't think sexism still exists, look at how Princess Charlotte gets passed over for her younger brother. And then look at Princess Anne's position. Such weird rules considering the country's two longest-reigning (and among the most beloved?) monarchs were women.
If you look at the line of succession, she is before Louis, not after. It has been changed to be determined by age, not sex. So, the eldest son of the reigning monarch Charles is next in line, followed by the children of the eldest according to age, followed by their children according to age (George's children will rank higher than Charlotte's children) and so on. William, then his children according to age, then his grandchildren based on age - so Harry's children rank further down than William's children, and may eventually rank even further down below William's grandchildren.

EEK... you are correct about Charlotte. My mistake.

Perhaps it was changed, because Anne (and her line) should be ahead of Andrew & Edward and she is not.

You're a better person than I am. I don't have the dedication or interest to log on for some livestream on Sunday instead of going to a post-heat wave brunch with friends while I leave the phone in the car. But I'll probably check in here later on Sunday to see what they announced for Disneyland. Motorboat Cruise area?

But I completely understand your position, and I admire you for it. ;)
I am weak and I caved because this is too much snarky fun.

Staying the heck off of Twitter, tho.

It's raining lightly in San Diego now, and the local news is treating it like the apocalypse. There is a young news hostess stationed downtown and dressed like the Gorton's Fisherman patched in to the live feed so she can breathlessly describe the mid-sized puddles collecting on the streets of downtown San Diego. There was also live footage of a city bus using its windshield wipers.

Satellites circle the planet and massive media machines are churning to provide this type of news coverage. This is one of those things that I will miss about living in Southern California; our surprisingly hokey provincialism and general inability to understand our planet's weather. 🤣

I am sure that when the rain arrives in Anaheim later this afternoon, it will cause panicky havoc at Disneyland and across the street at the Anaheim Convention Center.

At any point in Disneylands history was skull rock or another version of it in front of Disneyland perched over the train tracks in front of the Jungle Cruise? This was the mid to late 80s and i remember being on the tram and seeing it as we made our way to the front gates.

Then again for much of my life I swore I saw a giant snail in our backyard when I was 6. My Dad solved the mystery in my late 20’s when he mentioned I was probably talking about our neighbors turtle.

Anyone have any close up pictures of these bizarre parody posters that used to be at HKDL?

Waiting for Disney to someday make a feature film adaptation of The Wolf and The Seven Young Kids/Goats. It's my favorite Fairy Tale!
