Long time ago, when Disneyland Forever performed, they mistakenly played Fantasy in the Sky music at the beginning. Here's the video (from 0:02 to 0:32).

Now that dust has started settling after D23...

The absolute weirdest announcement this year is that the much hyped, long-awaited Harmonious is getting replaced at Epcot after only a year. What the heck?

This is a big deal. Usually Disney's executives ego allows badly rated attractions to stay much longer than they should.

I'm glad theyre scrapping it. I was in Disney World in 2021 but before the 50th and those things are an eyesore in the lagoon. They are the size of buildings. It looks like a weird giant concert rig set up all across this circular lake.

I'm glad they listened to guest feedback and are scrapping this.

The mind still boggles: How could this huge corporation supposedly brimming with “unparalleled creativity” greenlight those eyesore barges in the first place? At what point did they all agree that destroying the views in World Showcase was a swell idea??? 😄 Newsflash, Disney: Carrots are vegetables, fish swim and making a Chris Pine joke in your awful Pinocchio remake was a poor decision!

Goofys Halloween outfit is terrible. @Mousertainment thoughts?
The tree thing at DL? Yeah, a bit awkward. But they seemed to have merchandised all the Fab Five Halloween looks for the year, so I wonder - did Consumer Products come up with the look and parks had to comply? Or did parks come up with the look and CP said "oh wow, we gotta do something with that!"

Here's the pin set for example:

And a shirt:

But no matter which came first - the costume or the consumer product - I still feel sorry for Goofy's friends' backs as that has gotta be uncomfortable!

Getting rid of the show doesn’t necessarily mean getting rid of the garbage in the lagoon.

Yeah interesting approach these year. This is the kind of stuff I guess we should have expected when parks and merchandise become one division. At least in the pin the tree is brown. I think on Goofy it’s Orange.

Yeah, the park version is closer to what's on the shirt.

Really, my first thought was "oof, that's gotta be uncomfortable". Not exactly a magical reaction. :D Then again, my first concern is always for the cast rather than the guest. Without them taken care of, we don't get any magic.

As an In-N-Out connoisseur I’d like to nominate the La Mirada location off the 5/ Valley View as the best location in California.

So what do you get? I typically get a double-double animal protein, fries and lemon-up. The youngest keeps threatening at 4x4 animal meat, fries, Neapolitan shake.

Lemon up? Lol youngster has an appetite!

My order changes about once every couple years. I’m now doing Protein style Double Doubles. No tomato, no onion. Sub mustard for spread which was brought on by my 3 weeks of keto I did a few months ago and managed to lose my 14 Pandemic pounds and keep it off. Now I’m off Keto but still eating the protein style double doubles. Then I get a Fry-light. These can be hit or miss but when they re good they re GOOD and redeem their otherwise not so great fries. Some locations give you a raw potato and some make them with perfectly with just the right amount of crisp but still airy on the inside.

Anyway I’m not basing La Miradas rating off my current order as that would be doing a disservice to everyone. I’m basing it off the years of different burgers I haven’t eaten there on my to or from Disneyland. They are very consistent. Meat is never over cooked. One thing that location always gets right is the bun. You always get the crisp on the outer ring of the bottom bun. And it always piping hot!

There are usually a lot of good ones on Main Street, BVS and Cars Land, especially for Halloween.

Just look for a CM with a camera and be ready to scan your your phone like you would for a LL or food/Merch discount.

Thanks! It’s amazing how many times I’ve been to DL and couldn’t tell you where the photo pass spots are other than the castle and Mickey Floral.

That sounds yummy. 15 year olds eat like there is no tomorrow.
A lemon up is half lemonade and half 7-up. There is Lemon-coke too

I’m honestly disappointed that I’ll never get to see KiteTails in person over at AK. It’s ending in a few weeks.
It really is a shame that what was the most appropriate metaphor of WDW’s paltry 50th celebration - kites face planting into the water and crashing into the audience - is fading away prematurely.

But in all seriousness: it was the only thing of interest I genuinely wanted to fly to Florida to see.
