Most of the best rides have no height requirement.
What about Rocket Rods? Most of the best rides have no height requirement.
It's been that way for forty years. Not lately. But a few years ago they did build a Radiator Springs that had zero emphasis on expensive toy-buying “experiences.”
It kind of saddens me to witness how many people are chomping at the bit to open their wallets and say, “yes, Disney, I’ll give you all the money you want from me for Star Wars toys. Please continue in this direction.”
The Empire has won after all, it seems.
Don’t tell me little mickEblu is about to be 40 inches!? Does he show interest in riding other things that he hasn’t been tall enough for?Haha so recovering in this would mean I’m not an AP? No, unfortunately they suckered me right back in. This time the excuses were Star Wars Land and my son about to hit 40 inches. Which I guess are kind of good reasons. The 40 inch thing takes me off of the Small World, Dumbo, Teacups circuit.

I'm visiting Canada. My impression so far? Nothing beats the United States of America.
USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
Since her debut... I have only seen Redd one time in person.I haven’t seen Redd around for a while; I miss her. I wonder if she plays the First Order officer in Galaxy’s Edge now? I’m terrible with faces, but they look like they could be the same actor?
Redd isn't on the character rotation list. So I assume she's been retired at least for now. But yeah I assume her "friend", as they say, has moved onto GE.I haven’t seen Redd around for a while; I miss her. I wonder if she plays the First Order officer in Galaxy’s Edge now? The original actress playing her looked like Karen Gillan, and just made me wish there was a Karen Gillan m&g instead.Redd was a great character.
Good observations. I’m not surprised that the interactivity was overhyped; that promise has always sounded like typical theme park pr dept. ballyhoo to me. As much as I like much of what I see, the current merchandise emphasis really does give the impression that the entire project exists mainly to sell expensive toys. Hopefully it’ll feel more balanced when the headliner ride finally gets its act together. I wouldn’t count on ever seeing true unescorted free-roaming droids in GE, though.

Absolutely agree that droids with a cleverly hidden escort could happen.Droids could roam easily with the help of a nearby, 'disguised ' CM controlling the unit remotely.
Similar to 'PUSH', the famous roaming trash can.
You are likely correct however in that we won't see this happen anytime soon thanks to the cuts made to the originally proposed entertainment budget.

I think there is a lot more product but the fan base has dwindled at least as far as toy collectors (action figures) are concerned. But not as extreme as this.
