The Fairytale & Dream Come True-May 2013 DFTW & Honeymoon Report​

Welcome to the very best trip report EVER!!!!! I can’t believe I’m sitting here writing this when I’ve been married for over two months now…yep that’s right! I went down to the happiest place on earth and got married!! Oh aaaannd I went on my very first cruise! (Apologies to my cruise ladies…that was supposed to be my first cruise, but I made a cruise a first for me and my husband!) So thanks for tuning in and I hope you enjoy! Here we go!!!!!!

WHEN: May 18-May 28, 2013

WHERE: May 18-23: The Boardwalk Inn, May 23-26: Disney Dream, May 26-28: Art of Animation: Little Mermaid room

WHO: There were a lot of characters that made appearances during this trip! Myself, my now husband Mike (who hasn’t been to the world since he was 12 and he is now 26), Mom (who you know from my many previous trip reports), Dad (his first trip EVER and first time to FL), Memere & Pepere (my grandparents whom are lovers of Disney & resided in FL for a few winters), Aunt (tagged along to help the grandparents), Mom-in-law & Dad-in-law (Mike’s parents), Brother & his gf (Mike’s brother and his gf tagged along for the journey too! It was her first time to WDW and they had a blast!)

Now everyone pretty much came in on the 18th and left on the 22nd (except us). The other characters will make appearances in a few places but I’ll only post a picture of us for now.

Mike and I right after we got engaged in Seabrook, NH on the Beach on August 12, 2012.

A little background on Mike and I and this decision before I begin…Mike and I have been together for almost 5 years now. We met in college through a mutual friend and the rest is history I knew there was something about him from the moment I laid eyes on him, and fortunately he felt the same about me. I did warn him about my Disney addiction way in the beginning & said if we get married it will be in Disney World. I guess he didn’t mind because well he let my dream come true! We were originally planning on getting married in March 2014, but since we were both already out of school and had full time jobs…we figured why not sooner! So about 7 months before the big day in October…we decided to get married in Disney World in May! We were so excited to get planning and thought it was so far away! But my, did the time come very fast! Thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy it!

Note: I did not take notes on this trip at all I was having too much fun to stop and write so this is going all from my pictures and memory!

During the wedding days of the trip, we used these awesome Times Guides that @HollyBelle made for us!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Everyone loved them!!!

I just got around to reading your full trip report, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I had so many things I wanted to comment on, but then I just got so wrapped up in reading the whole report, I pretty much cannot remember anything I wanted to say. Oh but I do remember that my favorite photos are the few of you and your husband during the family portraits in front of the photo booth, they really are the cutest. You also mentioned something about reading the Game of Thrones books...DO IT!!! They are so amazing, I'm currently on the last book, well book five, two more are supposed to come out and I just cannot put them down. The show is so well done, but really it is nothing in comparison to the books.

Congratulations again, you're wedding was absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing!

Okay. So I'm NOT an emotional crier person. I don't cry at weddings. Nothing like that. But, man, that bench on the Beach Club beach looking over at "your" resort....you made me tear up!!! Ugh, and your signoff! You made me tear up again!!! Stopit!!!!!

Seriously, fabulous report beginning to end. What an adventure!

Sorry about your experience at BoG, when we went in November for the first time it was a similar experience. We did go two weeks ago and it was much better. The Fantasy was awesome and we had a great time. I have a 3/4's finished trip report on it all...life got in the way of finishing it... We themed one of our showers Disney and the entire process from engagement to honeymoon was Disney-esque!

We are staying at Pop from the 12th-15th. The 14th is our anniversary... How bout you?

My mom and i will be staying at Wilderness Lodge!

LOL very unmagical when you're leaving! Yep! I definitely caught myself a good one! He told me the other day that he really wanted to go back to Disney World and he couldn't wait until May to go back.

Awwww I made Kelly cry! I thought this trip report was the appropriate one for a signoff like that just because all my previous trips with my mom and my love for Disney just led all up to that one moment I had been waiting for. Sorry I'll stop now. lol

It was to the right of the main building! It is kind of hard to miss if you're so focused on the Nemo section. Because Cars is all the way to the right! Something to go look at next time!

Ah man! Yeah when we arrived we went straight into the Nemo section. I saw giant Crush so I was distracted by him. Plus I felt bad because we had were 'tresspassing' in the pool area. I didn't want to us it, just look, but I thought Disney Security were going to come and take us away! Then we went off to the left into the Lion King Section. I didn't realise there was a section to the right aswell. Gutted. Oh well. Something to go for next time!

So bummed about BOG though. Hopefully it was just an off night. It's such a bummer when you have one chance to eat at a restaurant during your trip and it isn't as great as it could be

Yes, we are definitely going to have a blast! I got my package yesterday from Tammy, too! Seeing everything on paper, right in front of me makes it so real!

I have started packing a little bit. Just things I know I won't need until the trip like a couple bathing suits, a couple dresses and shorts, our Magic Bands, cause lord knows I won't be rocking that pink band anytime other than in the parks and I don't even think I will actually wear it on my wrist there. I should start doing that too, but we'll all be going away to visit family this long weekend, so I don't want to put things away yet plus I'll be using the suitcase this weekend too so can't start packing that (since I'm taking Mike's suitcase this time so I won't go overweight with the big one LOL) so it definitely will be after this weekend!

I just got a new large suitcase and another smaller one. I think in total, we are each bringing 1 large suitcase, I'm bringing my smaller one (we're going to check all 4 of those) plus we will each have a carry on bag. The smaller suitcase is a safety net in case we got overweight with the larger ones haha
