Working from home.... I made the trek into work, and when I got there, it was a ghost town. Even my boss was at home. So boss lady said, why don't you head home and work from there. 8-12 inches of snow forecasted now for today... and it looks like that could be true.

It's been a year or two since I worked from home. Feeling discombobulated!

I see shoveling in my future later today.

The like is for staying home!

Updated forecast -53 windchills. They might call off school. I'm thinking it might be off for kids one of the days but maybe they will have teachers still report. Just speculation.

I can't even sympathy like that! Beer, ammo and rum on it's way! and STAY INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll probably have school closed for tomorrow due to snow and at least a delay everyday for the rest of the week due to the cold

Yep, Joann’s. Took advantage of a sale and a coupon. The pattern was just over $5.
I like that pattern. I don’t remember seeing it. Youngest was torn as to which print to get nd eeny meenied to choose. Ahem, we all know that is rigged.

I dont knit.. but I do draw cartoons when theres not much to do
so.. desk workers.. unite!

I love regional language. I think it's from moving so much as a kid.

Different parts of Wisconsin do speak differently than some other parts do. My mom did not grow up in South Eastern Wisconsin unlike My dad. She growing up calling soda "Pop". My mom had to learn to speak differently in some ways such as saying soda instead of "pop" when she moved to the South Eastern region of the state.

I think everyone knows sub sandwich. Now, if I said something about getting hoagies, I am not sure any of my fellow midwesterners would know what I was talking about.

When I was young they were called Grinders! But, Grinders, Subs or Hoagies are actually the same thing. In New Orleans it's a Po' Boy! That's why some people call something Soda, Soda Pop, Pop or in Boston.... Tonic or in many places in the south all carbonated beverage is called a coke!
