No work for me for the next 2 days, I got the text from the school district that school is off through Wednesday. Our Governor declared a state wide emergency because of the cold. On Wednesday it is supposed to have a wind chill of -53. Hubs and I were planning to go to a fund raiser at a British style pub tomorrow night, it is still on and hubs wants to go. I want to stay home but I also want to go too. I'm actually not so worried about the cold but more about the possible black ice on the roads.
I am wondering what they are going to do about tomorrow. School will for sure be canceled on Wednesday.

We are off through Wednesday as are most schools around us. Thursday morning is still in the windchills of -30 so maybe we will have off Thursday too, or perhaps a delays.

I checked our schools Facebook page and there were comments with the post of your school closing for two days and I was thinking they would all be complaining but it was a lot of thank you messages (thanks for thinking of the safety of the kids comments).

I think everyone knows sub sandwich. Now, if I said something about getting hoagies, I am not sure any of my fellow midwesterners would know what I was talking about.
I do. I heard of the term before, but it is one that I usually don't say. I recalled my mom using the term before when I growing up when she made them at home.

Hahaaa...!!!!! :hilarious:

BTW, Cesar...
Do you know how I can post a video on this site from my personal phone photo album that I took with my phone?
Thanks in advance...!!! :)
For ease of use, you could upload to youtube and put it as "unlisted" instead of "public".
Then link the video here.

Because almost every other website that allows videos, are very short size (like instagram) or do not allow direct linking (facebook)

I think I will pass on that one. Does he still have tastebuds left??;):hilarious::jawdrop:
I find it a bit surprising but he has rather refined taste buds for the most part. That being said every once in a while he likes something super hot such as that dressing or chili which he makes himself. I don't go in the kitchen when it's cooking because it makes my eyes burn:eek::cautious::rolleyes:

That is so cute. My oldest was like that. She loved the first time she had watermelon. She can still eat half a watermelon on her own in one sitting. Funny thing is, is she is the only one of my kids that likes watermelon. She pretty much is my only kid that likes just about any food.

Thank you!!! :)
Funny-interesting story about your oldest...!!!
They put Emy on her tummy often, and we also have video from last Wednesday of her rolling from her back to her tummy!!!;):)

And yes, the royal thing is crazy-cool...in many ways, including the craziness that occurred with those families back then...although we’d all already learned about a lot of it in history class, from History Channel shows, etc., back then in that part of the world, we learned so much more from that program that was DWifeys pops side of the family-specific. William Wallace (Braveheart), Mary, Queen of Scots, etc., and even King James VI, who later later became King James I when he also became king of Ireland and England, and was responsible for the King James Bible, and it goes on.
Just amazing...!!!!! :geek:
Her ancestors were actually William Wallace and Bloody Mary? My kids and I had some great lessons about them a few years back.

i need a bazillion dollars. There's 17.5 acers of lake front for sale in Bay Hill. If @donaldtoo angles the house properly we'd be able to see Disney fireworks from the balcony and be able to walk to Universal, Whole Foods and also restaurant road.
Maybe @donaldtoo dwifey’s family can hit up some of their next of royal kin from the UK for it?:hilarious:

Morning.... planning on making the trek into work today. I'll ask the boss for a WAH day again tomorrow...

I actually don't love to work at home. Since my husband is disabled, he's here while I'm trying to work, and frequently tries to chit chat with me. That's fine on days I don't really have a bunch to do, but not so fine when I actually do!
