-50 windchills????? Call off school. No one should be out in that.

Updated forecast -53 windchills. They might call off school. I'm thinking it might be off for kids one of the days but maybe they will have teachers still report. Just speculation.

This is something I dread from living in a cold country. Having to shove the ice prison over and over and over D:

I think Vancouver is more mild like Seattle WA so probably no snow there. Or at least I read/saw that somewhere.

How many snow days are built into the school schedule? What is the last day of school supposed to be?

The high school has 5 days built in. They have used 2, after today. Their last day is May 24, but could be sooner, depending on your last final.

The elementary district just tacks on a day at the end of the year for each snow day. Last day was supposed to be May 30, now I guess we are at June 3. So, I will still be at work for awhile yet, when DD needs a ride from summer school back home.

I already know that school is going to be called Wednesday, with wind chills coming in at -44. Elementary has a half day that day, so I am not sure how that will work.

A made me sit through an entire Taylor Swift concert last night on Netflix. This is the first time she has expressed interest in wanting to be something when she grows up, and it's not at all practical.

Me: you want to be Taylor when you grow up??
A: No I want to be a princess rockstar and Taylor Smith is not dressed like a princess.
Me: You want to be a rockstar but dressed like a princess?
A: Yeah. But I want Taylor's boots. And her lipstick.

The one thing I hated bout living with my step sisters was them "borrowing" my shoes and makeup. Some thing got locked in my trunk after a while
