Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
As an introvert, this sounds terrifying :hilarious::hilarious: but I'm glad you got to experience it a few times!!

It was fun. It actually leans to helping the more introverted.

Most had build up some strong relationships with fellow members so their was relationships that
were not new even if many were cyber friends. Sure you are meeting some for the first time but
you really know them well. For some it was a pre holiday break and others a must do
every year. Loved the attraction meet ups more than the gathering to socialize, but we did do some
table service meet ups, 1 or 2 per fest.

I am liking the revisiting of this type of event in Disney World now with the Challenges. A much smaller scale but that is also how Mousefest originally grew roots.

Hahaaa...!
Indeed a fun movie, and a lot of it was shot here in Austin... "Where's my stapler?"
"Why aren't you wearing more flair?"...!!!!! :hilarious:

Sorry about the 5a thing, but, I hope it's family related and y'all enjoy it...!!! :)
It is family related. Littlest dd has a cheer competition on the east side of DC, so without traffic it should take 2 hours. :rolleyes:I hate being late to things so want to give a cushion. :D
Hahaaa...!
DWifey would be slightly different...she wants both...the flowers and the pup...!!! :D ;) :)
I’ve already got 3 pups. :):confused::p

Thanks for the link! :)
I've actually seen that one advertised before!
I have been sleeping sitting up for the last few years, but, lately I've started sleeping on my sides some again...I have no clue why... :cyclops:
I sleep with two pillows, and when I roll over I fold the top one in half lengthwise to support my fat head...
I'll hafta' look into it...this pillow might solve that problem...!

Thanks, again...! :)
Anytime. Look around we've seen them cheaper at many places since the purchase:mad:

Well, who hasn't screamed on a Monday...!!!!! ;)
But, seriously, that is awesome news to hear..!!!!!!! :)
Yeah, and he had reason to...it was a misunderstanding, but from his perspective, they didn't believe in him or thought he was lying. That's a huge trigger for him, so I get it. But that's the nice thing about this school...they are trained to look for the underlying cause of the outburst, not write it off as bad behavior. So they talk it out to figure out what's going on and have a better understanding of how his brain works and then give him the skills to control those emotions. It's pretty fantastic.

Well, I kind of splurged tonight. My mom has a DSLR, and I borrowed it for my California trip, and I've really been wanting my own (she's usually pretty nice about letting me borrow hers but sometimes she says no, which is fair), but they usually run in the $700s, and I just couldn't do that. Well, I've been browsing Amazon, and they had an updated model of her camera. Normally $750...$500. As a Cyber Monday Deals Week sale. I was not going to find a better deal than that, so I jumped on it. It has full HD, WiFi, and can even shoot video. That's more than hers can do. And considering hers it about 7 years old and going strong, I'd say it'll last. Coming Monday, very excited. :D
Nice!! I'd love to have a good camera like that, but there are so many things I would love to have...a kitchen aid mixer...also around $600+. When I win millions in the lottery, I'll buy all those little things I've been wanting. Good for you for jumping on it while you had the chance!

My dh got me one, I'm not even sure where it is right now.
My husband likes to pull pranks on me...things like, when I ask him to print out my vacation lists, he prints them and then also prints a "list of lists" to make fun of me. So, I don't have an e-reader, but he knows how much I LOVE to read...he comes home with a "gift" for me. He says I should get an e-reader and he has my first digital book for me! Fifty Shades of Grey!:jawdrop::cautious::mad:

No e-reader for me either. Never read 50 Shades. No desire. (No pun intended.);)

Day #1 of Garage Sale completed. 2/3 of stuff put out gone.
Yikes..a garage sale in December? Isn't it COLD?? The school runs this week have been miserable with the cold and I'm on a bike, so I warm up pretty quickly...but sitting still in a garage? Yikes. Granted, part of the reason they were miserable was rain and sleet, which you wouldn't have in the garage.

Most of the little ice drops had melted by the time I got my camera out, but this is what we biked home in on Thursday. We ended up ducking into the library to take cover for a bit...that stuff HURTS. DS: "Mommy, it's stinging my face!!!"

It is playing on the freeform channel This Saturday at 10 am central according to my directv guide.

I watched it and enjoyed almost all of it this year.

It was on Disney East last night at 8:30--I saw the first 30 minutes. I plan to catch the rest of it on Freeform this morning (11AM Eastern). Thanks for the heads up--I wouldn't have thought to check Freeform at all, but now I'll get to see the entire show in the daytime (versus at night when I always fall asleep in front of the TV!!). ;)

Actually the original plan was to head toward Water Tower Place after we went to see the tree in Millennium Park. However, after spending loads of time in Daley Plaza, and Macy's and the Disney Store on State Street, we decided to save a trip to Water Tower Place for another day. It would have been more walking than I could have handled anyway. Not as spry as I used to be in my younger days, when I would start at the Mag Mile, and finish up at State Street. Of course, most of those trips didn't include carrying lots of packages.

It's not always the quantity, but the quality of the experience that counts. I could tell from your fun photos that you had a great day, and I'd say that was a success! :)
